How to get rid of hieroglyphs? (Far Cry 2)

I have a problem with the buttons, some hieroglyphs are written instead! If anyone had this problem and solved it, please write!

There is a language panel near the clock on Windows. You click on it with RMB, select the parameters, set the default input language to English.
