Output image and sound from different HDMI video cards

Hello everyone!

I am thinking of purchasing a soundbar as a computer acoustically. In the sauna bar there are optics and hdmi inputs. I have no optics on my computer, but the video card has several hdmi connectors. Actually the question itself: is it possible to display an image on a monitor from one hdmi output of a video card, and use the second only to output sound to a soundbar?

PS video card gtx1063, picture for clarity

How would you go about connecting a soundbar if there was no second hdmi?

There should be no problems, you set the output to the desired device (speakers, headphones, etc.) in the sound settings, if there are several such devices. And if there is only one sound output device, then it will be accepted as primary and all sound will go there.

There are a lot of nvidia ousters in sound devices. Before that, there was a monitor with speakers, the video card output sound to it without any problems. I think there should be no problems with the soundbar, right?

The sound panel looks like this.

Yes, that's right. Do not forget to set the "Use by default" flag on the desired device.

Okay, I'll take it. Then I'll sign off as I'll try. Thank you!
