Transferring saves to the new version (Assassin's Creed: Valhalla)

I play pirate version 1.1.2. I wanted to play Druid Wrath, but it is on the next versions. Is there a patch for pirates so that the save will remain? Or if I download the new version immediately, the old save will work?
