450 watts is enough for the 970 and 1060.
The power consumption of the GTX 970 to load with i7-3960X (overclocking, 6/12, 130 watts nominal) - 365 W (note that's the old processor, power hungry and overclocking, there are more than 130 watts. You can take your CPU and 100 W suspended). 450 watts enough.

But still, I would recommend to look narrowly at 1060 (if it all), preference (with fans).

Why should I believe? I have a 500W PSU standing with Е8600, enough butt. Wanted to buy a 550, but they were not bought for the 600W. I thought the stock by putting 7600К was a reserve, because he is in bust eats 130W.
