Is it worth it now to change the i5 4690K to I7 4790k (FOR 8000R FOR AVITO)
Hello everyone. In general, my i5 4690k works at 4.3 GHz, I used to plow at 4.5 GHz for years, but the battery on the motherboard died, I had to remove it and replace it, and then the BIOS went off and I had to install some other one and couldn't raise it up to 4.5 GHz there .. In short, it doesn't matter what kind of mother, if I buy an i7 4790k, I will also put it at 4.3 GHz, I have 4 copper tubes with two 120mm turntables for cooling. Is it worth taking this percentage so that later you can replace your gtx 970 with a more powerful one, level 2070? Well +/-?Or is this percentage not very good and is it worth switching to a new platform? Ryazan or Intel of a higher generation?
The second option is preferable because the funds spent, in my opinion, will not give a tangible increase in productivity. (A tangible increase in performance in my subjective opinion is from 50% and more)

Damn, I thought to i5 4690k vidyuhu is more powerful than gtx 1060 6gb there is no point in taking ... But if there was an i7 4790k, then you can already think about gxt 1080 ... I have 16GB of RAM, m2 240 ssd and 120 ssd on the system ... Is it really better to change the PC than to put i7 4790k for 8000 rubles?
for 8k rubles may be possible. But if I make such a transition in my case, then in 2015-20. more multi-core processors will be relevant in the next couple of years.
if the goal is to stretch the life of this pitch a little, then probably you can.
regarding vidyuhi - I do not undertake to assess the prospects of its replacement in games that do not yet exist. But the performance gag still happens somewhere in the vidyuhu, so now we can consider the minimum comfortable cards of the couple of the level 2070-2080 for full HD (although they are not able to provide or with difficulty the nextgen rtx complex) and few FPS. so I suppose that the processor and card limit when they find each other at 30faps will be 3080 or maybe 3080 at strict ultras.

Save up money and exchange it for something relevant. Taking iron from ten years ago in 2021 is such an idea

From cheap I like Intel Core i5 10400F + motherboard ASRock H410M-HVS mATX LGA1200, why not torment with installing another BIOS?
Game boost will be

If funds are very limited, then with the replacement of i5 with i7 you will see some kind of boost in any case, especially with a new video card. A friend now sits on a bundle of i7-4790K and 2070Super and does not complain, although he is slowly saving up for new hardware. Because 4 cores (albeit with 8 threads) are not enough in today's reality.
