Death Shadow Skill (Dishonored)

I decided to replay this series of games and an interesting question arose about the first part.

As we all know, the murders in the first part lead to a bad ending as the plague spreads from the corpses. BUT the game has a deadly shadow, which turns killed enemies to dust. When leveling this skill, murders still affect the ending ????

strange scheme then turns out. I really thought the developers left the normal trick.

... yes, kind of logical, you crashed the carcass. The only trick is not to carry / hide the corpses.
Now, if they made "Rat Shadow", when the enemies would turn into cute white mice, and then they died through no fault of yours, tady yes)))

What is logical there? Plague spreads from corpses and mice. This skill turns corpses to ash. Accordingly, nothing contributes to the development of the plague.

bad ending is not because of the spread of the plague (the plague is already there), but because of the level of chaos: you cut everyone around, because of this everything is bad in the city - people are afraid, panic, etc. Plus, scientists won't be able to make up and come up with a cure.

But the people we meet are just complaining about the guards and aggressive authorities. On the contrary, we cut them out. What are ordinary citizens afraid of?

Ie What do you think ordinary townspeople are in if some butcher cuts half the city? ooook
In addition to the plague, you will also get mountains of corpses (disappeared corpses). Yep, promotes tranquility in and around the city.
And slaughtering guards like cattle is not a fight for justice. Moreover, the guards are not all the same (which is even said directly in the course of the passage) and they have families, friends, children.

Perhaps you are right. This approach in games just infuriates me - here's a hundred ways to kill, but for a good ending, don't kill anyone.

Actually the protagonist of the "lord protector", not the "lord-retired-mother-of-his-thug". For him, "honor" and "justice" are not an empty phrase. Avoid victims among ordinary people, guards and ordinary caretakers as much as possible - and here's a low level of chaos, even if you killed 3 main targets. And if you mow everyone right and left, then why be surprised? Then, after the rescue, the boatman will correctly say that it is not clear who the bigger monster is - you or those you are cutting. Everything is MORE THAN LOGICAL. Don't play if it pisses you off.

And by the way, "here's a hundred ways" is called "nonlinearity." And the concept of "good ending" was invented by the players themselves - the game simply informs you about the levels of chaos, from which you get the corresponding ending. "Good"
