Portable TOP-10: Summing Up (DS and PSP)
In one of the adjacent topics, people started updating their lists of favorite games of the current generation of stationary consoles. Having tried to somehow update my TOP, I noticed that most of the games that I would like to "shove" into the list were released on DS or PSP. The thought also slipped through that the DS and PSP generation had already passed (Pokemon Black & White 2 remained there, and even dreams about the release of Ace Attorney Investigations 2 in the west). As a result, I had a desire to create this theme, brother (or sister, whatever you want) themes about favorite games of the current generation on X360, PS3 and Wii. The generation is over - it's time to take stock. The theme is intended to showcase your [b] TOP-TEN [/ b] favorite games from the previous generation of portable consoles ([b] DS [/ b], [b] PSP [/ b]).I'll start with myself. Mario and Luigi Partners in Time, Bowser Inside Story (DS) Modified on February 28, 2013 by Professor Link
1. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (DS) - a great series about a lawyer, a lot of humor.
2. Flower, Sun, and Rain (DS) - a port of the early game Suda51, an adventure game with an interesting plot, good music, a lot of funny situations, but the gameplay is boring with backtracking, and the graphics sparkle with huge pixels. It was she who also inspired the author of Deadly Premonition.
3. The World Ends With You (DS) - IMHO, copes with the duties of Persons 3 and 4 much better.
4. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (DS) - the most charming quest / puzzle with an interesting plot.
5. Shadow of Memories (PSP) - port of the 2001 adventure game with minor improvements. A soulful thing, and the script is good.
6. Shantae: Risky's Revenge (DS) is a very sprightly platformer, IMHO the best among modern ones.
7. Prinny: Can i really be a hero? (PSP) is a hardcore platformer from the authors of Disgaea.
8. Crush (PSP) - an interesting puzzle, reminiscent of the concept of Paper Mario - to solve problems, you need to combine 2D and 3D modes.
9. Onore no Shinzuru Michi wo Yuke (PSP) - You can read about him here. A kind of puzzle / arcade game with a drawing in the spirit of Okami.
10. Every Extend Extra (PSP) - anti-smash (yes) from the author of Rez and Lumines. Also, a gorgeous cover.
