What is important to you in games?
What do you especially love, value, look for in games in general and in specific genres in particular?
Gameplay, plot, graphics, music, sound, multiplayer, controls ...?
What is important to you in the first place, what is not so strong, and what does not really matter at all?
I propose to compile personal charts.
Here's mine, regarding games in general:
1) The plot
2) Gameplay
3) Music
4) Graphics
5) 'Atmosphere'
6) Sound
It depends on the style of the game. In races, music, controls, graphics are important to me! And if you take SH as an example, then everything is important there.
Yes, really ... it depends on the genre. In quests and RPGs, for example, the main plot and of course the atmosphere (Foul-da best !!!: love :), in simulators, grafon, races, grafon and Mouzon, and sound (and music), in principle, in last place, but without them some games lose color (well, imagine Hot persuit 2 byz Mouzon: stupid :).
Well, of course, in ALL games, gameplay is important (in particular, replayability).!
In simulators, physics still plays a very important role.
You can choose your own physics, I'm doing modeling myself. : upto:
Yes, yes .. I forgot to say that the main thing for strategies is balance ... For example, it annoys me when, for example, there are 3 races to choose from, but apart from their appearance they are no different ....: fight:
But in Generals, for example, balansssssSuper!
1.Gameplay
2.Atmosphere
3.Plot
4.Graphics
5.Music
6.Sound
If we talk about RPGs.
In general, BlindGuard all depends on the genre. I suggest writing your tops for specific genres.
And one more thing, the quality of the gameplay just depends on all the parameters listed below (and many others), and the atmosphere too, so the parade of preferences is somewhat incorrect.

How do you choose your physics for the game:?:
And in the game I like its difference from others, i.e. its own uniqueness.

I don’t know for sure on Nfs, since I didn’t make a car for him (for MidtownMadness2 I can explain exactly) well, in general, I’ll try to explain approximately! In general, either in the file with the car or somewhere in the root of the game there is a text file for each car, its full configuration is written there, for example, speed, etc.
Judging by this thread, comparing PCs with consoles in terms of graphics is stupid. Everyone is primarily interested in something else ...
In general, everything is so, but in general it depends on the genre:
1. Game universe
2. The plot
3. Characters (originality, etc.) The main point for fighting games.
4. Gameplay
5. Graphics
6. Music
Most of all I am enraged by games where basically only your character and enemies (not a soul around) ...
But the main thing for me is games. universe and characters! The best gaming universe is definitely in Zelda 64 (N64) :)
Halfelf
I tried to formulate the question more precisely.
And one more thing, the quality of the gameplay just depends on all the parameters listed below (and many others), and the atmosphere too, so the parade of preferences is somewhat incorrect. And here I disagree. I still think that gameplay is an independent parameter, little dependent on others. Take the game HeroesIII - there is simply amazing gameplay, but everything else: the plot, graphics, music annoys me.
Although of course it still depends on which genre to take, for each genre, gameplay is understood differently.
I will not touch simulators with strategies now, I will say about shooters.
REALISM ... Realism in all its frightening glory ... You can call me a maniac, but I have not yet seen a game that would meet this main requirement. After all, most of today's shooters are very arcade ...
Why, I ask you, when I get into someone's head I see blood, and I don't see brains ??? Why in 20-30 minutes you can thoroughly study all the possible warrants of the animation of death in the game ??? Where are the dying convulsions individually calculated for this nature of tissue and organ damage ??? When will developers, in addition to designers, programmers and ballistics consultants, begin to attract military doctors and anatomy specialists for shooters ??? When will they finally remove these stupid miracle first-aid kits from the levels ???
Shl. here they say Postal2 comes out, I want to believe that this is 'the first swallow ': encore:
For RPGs, my first place is freedom, and for strategies - balance. In tactical shooters, realism is important to me, and in ordinary shooters, graphics.
I will not delve into genres, I will say in general ...
1) Plot
2) Gameplay
3) Graphics
4) Atmosphere
Rare unanimity.
I agree with everyone, while:
- I appreciate the design in the graphics;
- in sound - sound engineering.
For RPGs, my first place is freedom
And I have a plot;)
And I have an interesting, breathtaking plot, while at the same time it should not interfere with the player in any degree what and when to do it, but there is no such game ...
I hope, very very much hope that my dreams will be realized in their creation by the guys from GSC ...
