Change difficulty level (The Witcher)

Good day!
I started the game at a "normal" level, but by the second chapter I realized that it was too boring. I don't want to go through again (and there is no time). Is it possible to somehow change the level to "hard"?
I tried to change the GameDifficulty value in the options_desc.lua file, but it didn't help. Digging through the saves through the HEX editor - I did not find anything useful there. Among the editors of the saves, I also did not find anything suitable.
Any ideas?
