I built my first 2 boats, but I cannot find them on the map. Where are they?

Boats spawn at the time of the region. Also, if they are left in the open ocean for a couple of turns, they will be destroyed.

in the upper right corner there are 2 buttons - all cities and all units. You press the second, look for a boat in the list and press the magnifying glass there. But most likely they drowned)
