Kratos' two PSP outings are being buffed up and bundled together for God of War Origins Collection, a PS3 game that will support 3D.
God of War Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, both developed by Ready at Dawn, were well-received portable outings for the series.
The bundle for PlayStation 3 will be delivered in full 3D, and trailers suggested that the textures have been improved - much like last year's God of War Collection. [/ Quote]

Games will run in native 1080p (1920x1080) resolution at a stable 60 fps.
Re-mastering both of the God of War PSP games in full HD for the PS3 God of War: Origins Collection definitely had its share of challenges for us. The first goal we had was simply the daunting task of up-rezing the engine and content authored on a PSP running at 480 x 272 resolution and 30 frames per second [b] to 1920 x 1080p at a steady 60 fps on the PS3. [ / b] This required a custom PS3 version of our engine, coded in-house exclusively for the Origins Collection, as well as a painstaking process by art team. [b] We ended up going through every single character in the game and doubling or tripling polygon count by hand, as well as up-rezing and re-painting every texture across both games at 4x resolution on both characters and environments. Are the games themselves inferior in quality to parts 1 and 2?
finally nextgen came - 1080p also in 3D! : lol:
Both of them are actually inferior, if only because of the duration. But nevertheless, these are full-fledged parts with all the attributes and give the corresponding pleasure.
who needs it, they earn money on ... the same as on a PSP, tough [/ quote]
Not everyone has a PSP.
yeah, for example, I don't have either PSP or PS2, so these collectibles are straightforward for me, and those who whine that they are selling the game for the tenth time may simply not buy
