How did Barney and Shepard survive in Xena without protective suits? (Half-Life)
The question is rather rhetorical, but torments me for a long time. In the first part (in Black Mesa to a greater extent) it was said that the HEV suit was created for work in dangerous conditions and in particular for work in the border world. Dead scientists scattered all over Xena confirm this - all were dressed in protective suits. The additions send the logic of the original to hell, and somehow Colhoun and Shepard calmly arrive at Xena ... Anyone have any thoughts?
Shepard's suit is a military analogue of HEV, so it shouldn't be an issue. In Barney's case, I believe that Xena's atmosphere is suitable for human life, at least for a while, and the scientists needed HEV more for protection from local living creatures.
