Mystical paths (Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous)

So I am doing Blood Rager / RDD with Golden Dragon bloodline and I want to get the Golden Dragon path.

However, I have unlocked the first ascension and have not been able to walk the path yet, and all abilities seem to sort of adapt to other mythic paths.

Is there a real reason to delay setting the Mythic Ascension point until I get the Golden Dragon Path? Will I get another option?
