Video card overheating (Diablo 2: Resurrected)
Typically, a video card operates at temperatures around 60 degrees. With this game - yesterday I noticed up to 80 rose. Moreover, I set the frame rate to no more than 40 cd / s.
Looks like blizzards and then cheated with optimization.

I don’t know what to do ...
I don't want to kill the card for the sake of the game.
I will wait for adequate implementation.
I'm sure many people don't even pay attention to it.
Nowadays, video cards are terribly expensive and I don't want to lose my 1060 (6G) Gigabyte.
I must say right away that the problem is not with me, but with the game - or rather its optimization. On the forum, people also express their opinion on this matter, who monitors the usual temperature course of the card.
I look above - we tried to reset everything to the minimum and did not help - it means that Blizzard showed disrespect to the audience.
1650s analog 1060, at high 50 degrees, at ultra 60, with a lock at 60 fps. Here on the beta, the vidyuha was really warmed up at a full 67 degrees, with the release all the rules became. I think it's not about the game.

I disabled CPU virtualization in BIOS - the temperature became normal - within 60 degrees.
The question is still in the optimization of the game and not in my "weak" hardware.

even on the OBT I noticed that at high settings the card is warming up - I just turned it to a minimum and removed the FSA - I did not notice the difference on my TV set, but the temperature dropped
ONEEX The
card is also warming up. I removed the virtualization of the processor - it did not help. Decreasing the settings to their very minimum lowers only 2 degrees.
Up to 90 degrees in vidyuhi, I would not steam at all, 80 is a common thing under load, the main thing is that the cooling does not fail.

The same vidyaha. First, put the vertical sync checkbox on the FPS lock. I have the maximum graphics level in lock at 46FPS. The temperature did not rise above 65 degrees.
Secondly, you need to install MSI Afterburner, and manually adjust the level of the cooler rpm range there.
This card has too many simple coolers in the automatic factory settings. There, even if the card heats up at 80 degrees, the coolers operate at only 55-60% power. Such settings are unacceptable, especially if you, like me, have a cramped case.
I have it like this.
