Sound problem (Dead Island)

Bought Dead Island: Definitive Edition on Steam. After I listened to any audio recording, my sounds become quiet (almost nothing is heard). And when I play with someone over the network, then there is also a problem with the sound, when the one with whom I play listens to some kind of audio recording. The sound becomes very quiet during and after recording, and therefore you have to restart the game every time. Please help fix this.
