[quote] Spider-Man 3 is a video game based on the film of the same name. It will be available in May 2007, around the same time of the movie.
The only confirmed villains for the game so far are Venom, The New Goblin, and Sandman. It will be a free-roaming game, as Spider-Man 2. Video game magazine Electronic Gaming Monthly was slated to have a worldwide exclusive story on the game for its October 2006 issue, going so far as to promote the exclusive in the previous issue ... The issue instead shipped with a Guitar Hero II lead story because director Sam Raimi pulled it at the last minute.
Short Description

Versions
Nintendo's Wii is set to have its own version designed exclusively around the unique controller. The player will have the opportunity to control Spider-Man with Nintendo's controller, presumably able to web swing, web zip, and more. The Wii version will also have two exclusive enemies: Morbius and Shriek. The PS3 and Xbox 360 will have a different version to share but at the moment it is unknown what the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will have to offer. There will also be PC, Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2 and PSP versions of the game.

Our final bit of webslinging focused on a powerful black suit and expanded power in the fight against common thugs and Sandman. The brute fighting was part of the standard run through the city that had you stomping crime. The use of the black suit was different from using the red and blue script and allowing us to carry out a slightly unpleasantly painful attack on these stricken bands of opponents. One thing to note, though, is that by using the black suit we failed to gain experience and align the red and blue suit abilities that may come back and haunt you later in the game.
In addition to the levels shown, the rap is available filled in with exclusive content for the PS3 collector's edition of the game, which will include an exclusive level and commentary from Bruce Campbell. The new level will put you in control of the New Dwarf through the Sixaxis controller as he flies in his glider. Campbell's commentary will offer some behind-the-scenes insight into the game.
The visuals in the game were glossy all over the place right for PS3 and 360 games. The primary symbols benefit from the extra polygonal and describe in detail love, whereas the smaller ones are slightly more understated. The environments were vast and changed, with nice changes around the clock. Special effects, especially the ones used for spider meaning and special attack, serve as nice additions. 360 Both the PS3 versions were comparable and did not differ significantly from each other, although if we get nitpicky, the hair color looked rich on the PS3.
Worst part about fighting the Sandman? Sandburn at spandex if you know what we mean.
The sound in the game is good with a voice acting from the stars of the film, complemented by Bruce Campbell's menacing isms. The music suits the action and captures the cinematic feel of what the game is going to be about. The special effects and the like were good, albeit crude in some places, but they made it work.
Based on which we played, Spider-Man 3 looks like another solid entry in the movie series. The game turns out to cover its bases and offers good mixing of movie content with enough original material to keep things interesting. The extra content in a PS3 game seems like the cool extra content we're curious to experience. If you're fanning Spidey, the difference is you'll want to keep looking for Spider-Man 3. The game is set to post it Maybe in time with the movie. [/ Quote]
Are you talking about that, or something…. : shock:
