Boom Boom Ability (Amigo Dog) (Far Cry 6)
Hello. How to collect resources from enemies with the help of a dog? I tried to kill them and then send the dog nearby, I tried to just set it on the enemies, but it does not work - the counter of collected resources 0/10 in the description of Amigo does not change.
Thanks.
UPD: on the advice of the Yubisoft support service, I stopped looting corpses on my own and just played, as a result, Boom-Boom began to drag me all kinds of junk himself.

Are you kidding me? I wrote that I tried to kill and send the dog nearby, incl. on the corpse.
Of. Yubi's support service said that it was necessary to stay with him at the corpses, and then sooner or later he himself would begin to collect resources.

from me by itself, I do not send it anywhere as a specialist. Probably something was wrong

Well, I will try to play with him, he has a very useful perk for marking enemies. I have already bothered to manually drive on the map or use detection grenades with the phone, only the slot is taken away.

damn it, well, it seemed to be implied by itself XD

Grenade Spotter is the best in the game. The dog is useless. Allows you to detect only the sudden appearance of a wild dog or a spree enemy from the bushes. The distance of his detection of a penny even after the upgrade. Several times he ruined stealth for me by randomly attacking. It's better without pets at all, and in battle, a top crocodile, eats damage like a sponge, and then he cuts himself.

It depends on the tactics and style of play. I like to methodically clean up objects without noise, in this regard, Boom-Boom is extremely convenient - enemies do not attack him and I just walk him through the entire base, first inside, and then outside, he marks everyone in the end, even in buildings. I just got tired of driving all over the database with a mobile phone and trying to detect individual records, with a dog it is much more convenient. Well, he suddenly attacks well too, guaranteed to bring down low-level onlookers. He can’t make an aggression against you just like that, it’s already checked. The only condition is to be out of sight of enemies. If you sit in ambush and send a dog, they only chase after him.
Well, Guapo, yes, I ran away with him for a very long time, a tenacious killing machine.
And what kind of grenade spotter? Plain with Velcro? I have it
Now I got to the dog. I decided to clean up the base with him. He sent him - he ran all over there and did not mark anyone. Then he began to clean up, he also stupid - he comes up to the corpse, sits next to him and does not collect anything.

in the "Amigo" menu and questions will disappear. The target designator's skill was initially blocked, so that he began to mark enemies, you need to receive a gift from him 10 times in the form of a resource from enemies. How to do it - see above. He does not immediately pounce on the corpses and not at all, in this regard it is stupidly done, but as it is. It took me about 20 minutes of play and one story mission to complete this goal.

do you understand that it is very difficult to lead a stupid dog from afar, firstly, it is incredibly long? In comparison with the fact that it is much easier to climb some kind of tower and calmly scan everything with your phone.

Just walking around you throw a few grenades over the walls and they shine the entire map, this is their first use, the second - you put them across the passages along which enemies climb and they automatically shine for you, it is much easier to repulse assaults. I now have 7 of them thanks to food to increase the number of gadgets.

I climb a tower or hill, scan, then run to the base and just fire the number of shots from a silenced assault rifle equal to the number of heads in helmets (or without them), throwing myself into red spots on the mini map with detection grenades.
Here is the screen, I was thrown too close to the enemies to just scan them and I called the boomer.
sent him to shine and he aggrieved everyone in general, the mission failed.
The boomer is visible to enemies only if they spotted you or you sent it to the enemy (kill), and not just to a point on the map.
Carrying it out in the corners of the base - how to do it. Moreover, he runs along the same paths as the NPC. Shines them through the walls. The radius is yes, not the largest, but an unlimited number of applications.
Plus, it can be planted on the way or behind the back of the inscription and at a certain moment set it on. When attacking from behind on a non-aggressive enemy, the kill will be instant and invisible, because Boomer is considered a secretive amigo. His following is also convenient - you are on the roofs, he is on the ground. As a result, all enemies are marked in 10-15 seconds. Moreover, the enemies do not give a damn about him at all, unlike Guapo, who immediately attacks himself.

Everything is as you wrote. The best Amigo in the game, you love to play stealth. The panther did not come to me at all. Chorizo is useless as such, even in terms of digging up resources, although he was promoted more than anyone else in a PR company (it's understandable, a cute dog that can be stroked, how not to be touched here).
SomeMark
No, it's not that simple with Chorizo - he's a distractor. Even during the battle, all enemies will aggro on him, including tanks. At the same time, he is small and nimble, you get to hell - he can run for a very long time and not fall. And his healer is generally imba. In addition to restoring health, it gives invulnerability on top (yellow color, until it disappears, health damage is not applied). Yesterday we were running with him from the special forces in the restricted area + a tank. It was fun! The only thing that during the battle it is still necessary to catch up with him in order to heal - here is a flaw, it would be necessary to roll on the whistle. Although then there will probably be a cheat. But I usually use it before the fight (if I want to go ahead) - you jump from some ledge, twist your leg, run heal and you have 10 seconds invulnerability. It is enough to break everyone in a small area. Well, or to the tank to break through and undermine.
And he also does not aggro the enemies and distracts, even if he is not sent with a specialist. So stealth is also a good amigo. I love him <3
ArXangel_ann
Well, baseballs are suitable for me to distract enemies, but then yes, you're right. It depends on tactics and style. I don't like "near stealth", I like to shoot everyone from afar with a sniper rifle, and here Chorizo was unfortunately useless, but in near stealth and if you don't want to occupy a slot with balls-distractors, he probably will be useful. With the healer, the same thing, as a sniper, the usual "pulling nails out of the palm" or a supremo medic is enough for me. In general, when I start playing again (right now I dropped it in the middle, I'm waiting for large patches and mods for difficulty), I'll try to get to know him better, mb and understand what his thrill is. Thank you for enlightening.
SomeMark
I also love with a sniper from a height. And here Chorizo is good if you need to divide a group of enemies - for example, an officer wanders and 2 guards with him. You can't take it off quietly. Then you send Chorizo to the point on their way, and when they pass by the guard lags behind, tk. tries to either drive him away, or is touched. Or the officer stops, and the guards move on. Nobody attracts such attention anymore, only Chorizo))
And it seemed to me that with him the detection scale fills up more slowly. But it may just seem like that, I have not seen any tips on this topic anywhere (I know about gear, if that).
ArXangel_ann wrote:

Well, here I can argue. I initiated this situation many times. In fact, I always manage to shoot all three or even four before they start howling throughout the location. The main thing is that the hands do not tremble and the increase is sufficient. But this is only true for headshots. If I missed and hit someone's body, then yes, write it’s gone, they manage to escape from the line of fire and raise the alarm.
But in any case, I'll try to play with Chorizo later. It's a pity you can't carry 2 Amigo with you like in a 5-ke.
SomeMark
Well, I'm too crooked for shooting at 3m at once)) And the rifle is slow (but uroooon !!!). The gear for the return of the cartridge in case of murder in the head helps a lot, by the way.
But in general, I mean that each partner is cleverly made (it seems that I have not yet discovered everyone) - for everyone you can find a use, even in stealth, even in battle. I liked that. And about 2x - yes, I would also like to.
pysy: And I love Boomer since 5th. Almost the whole game was played with only him and Peach)

I remember reading somewhere that according to Yubi statistics, the largest number of FC5 players chose Boomer, so it's quite understandable why he was returned in 6-ke, and I'm honestly glad of that myself.

I highly recommend the Eastern Front rifle (aka the Mosin rifle in reality), which you can take from Lola. Cool thing, stylish and "with a soul". Only a .50 caliber colossus is stronger than her in damage, but if you shoot in the head, there is no difference.
