How do I reset the settings? (The Long Dark)

I had such a problem that after installing the game, I changed the resolution to 800x600 pixels, and made the windowed mode, I played this way for quite a long time, I deleted the game several times and installed it after half a year, everything worked. Now I put it on, and now the game does not work normally, when I start it is a black screen. I heard that it could be a problem due to two video cards, and I have just two of them. When I start games, the video card switches to a discrete one, and if the games are not deployed, then the built-in video card works. There is a catch here, a small one. My discrete video card does not support Windows Aero, but the built-in does, it is on this basis that it is easy to distinguish which of them works, and when the game starts in windowed mode, the built-in continues to work, but all games are launched on a discrete one, so there are suspicions that this is It happened.
How do I reset the settings? I've seen some tips, like the user001.cfg file should be in The Long Dark NoSync folder, but my folder is empty. Other folders are empty too. I reinstalled the game, deleted all possible files of this game from all disks, but the resolution, as well as the settings, do not want to be reset. Where are they stored, and if it's a config, where can I find it? And yet, I have a pirated version, and it always worked, this will only affect the fact that all files are stored on the computer in the root folder with the game, and some files are stored on the #C drive.
