Guide for 2021 (PULSAR: Lost Colony)
This guide will describe the basics of the game on the classes and mechanics of the gameClasses
The game has 5 classes
1st Pilot - Illegal Schumacher and the only dodges on your ship, guides the ship to the point route, dodges enemy fire (from dangerous attacks mainly), substitutes weapons under enemy fire, etc.
2nd Scientist - A life form that graduated from a college programmer and decided that he is now a hacker, namely: he is your anti-virus Kaspersky, finds hidden enemies using sonar, attacks an enemy ship with viruses (With a certain virus, he can steal money), hides a boat from enemy and also destroys the enemy ship's system (Shields, life support system and power outages) and yes, he almost forgot the only medic in your team.
3rd Armsmaster - in one word, Rambo, namely: he shoots from the main weapon (Generally, from two weapons at once), has buffs to damage and armor penetration, the best boarding officer of 2021, after all, in the salt one he can kill the entire enemy crew, always yells at the pilot and owns a red button.
4th Engineer - He monitors the temperature of the reactor, converts energy into important components and has access to warp charging (also random warp), repairs the ship inside and buys warp cells and can turn off the oxygen generator for fun.
5th Cap - The captain can be both everyone and not who, he makes a route to the mission or to any goal of the crew, he can receive buffs of all professions but only by 25%, coordinates the actions of the team, issues shekals for a living wage, buys the necessary body kits to the ship, he also negotiates with other ships or factions and also helps to carry out work on the ship: uses weapons, repairs the ship, saves the ship from boarding and has access to all the special capabilities of the ship.
Game mechanics
The EM signature is both the most useful thing and not: it puts your ship in "stealth mode" and hides it from enemy sonar. If you fire a shot or start loading a warp jump, then the "stealth mode" will subside, or if your stealth is too low, then High level ships, your stealth spit on the side and you will be found the same thing with sonar if the enemy has a high sonar level, then it makes sense to go to no stealth.
Warp jump - I must say right away there are two types of warp jump:
1st ordinary warp jump - How does a normal warp jump happen: Engineer charges the warp, Cap will lay a point or route, the Pilot aimed the ship at the warp mark and the engineer, on Cap's command, starts the warp
Be sure to read it !! WARP JUMP STRONGLY LOADS THE REACTOR SO DURING THE FITE DO NOT CHARGE IT AND WAIT WHEN IT IS ENDED OR REDIRECT THE ENERGY ON THE SHIELDS AND THE WARP AND KEEP THE JUMP IN THE MUD
2-th case, too; so here's what I’ll tell you: DO NOT USE IT EXCEPT AN UNDERSTANDING SITUATION !, he breaks your ship after each use, you can run on a terrible boss and the most useful thing is he does not eat the warp of the cell.
Disch sensor - It is mainly used by a scientist to highlight enemies, inflicts damage to systems and displays the weapons and engine of the enemy at a certain damage, well, I think you already understand about it
Programs and virusy- Also used by scientists, viruses are different from disabling the enemy's systems to steal Shekalov so it is with the program from restarting the shield to the anti-virus Kosperskogo (This is not advertising!)
Abordazh- Capturing an enemy ship exactly how it works: first you you need to remove the shields through viruses or remove 80-100% of the shields with a weapon, then go to the teleport and hit the enemy ship, capture 6 screens (You have to stand at them), then delete the claim on the screen and then kill the entire enemy crew. P.S. hitting claim again will make their ship yours.
Repair of the ship, installation of programs and components.
Ship repair - this is done in a repair station, they are marked with a wrench and a screwdriver. You need to fly up to the repair station and turn off the shields after that, establish communication with R.S. and pay for repairs.
Installing programs and components - We still buy components through RS. and install through the inventory with the programs as well.
Ships and factions
There are 4 factions in the game. Colonial Union (TsUShniki) (blue) WD Corp (VDshniki) (orange) AOG (neutrals) (white) Fluffy Biscuit (pink) and in general there is a 5th faction, although I do not consider it as a faction so it is not. Each of the factions has its own ships. If, for example, at the beginning you chose the Interpid ship (Colonial Union ship), and during the game captured the Stargazer (AOG ship), then you will still be a member of the Colonial Union faction. It is impossible to change the faction, it is selected only once at the beginning of the game.
TsU
Interpid ships are the simplest ship in terms of layout. Usually everyone starts with him. There is support for the extractor, at the beginning Star Salvage E40 is installed, there are reverse main thrusters, there is no virus for stealth boarding. There is no BL in the beginning. No stealth.
Roland is a huge, clumsy colossus, difficult to control, but has a good reactor at the start. There is support for an extractor, not installed at the beginning. No reverse main thrusters, no stealth boarding virus. There is no BL in the beginning. No stealth.
Outrider pancake, plate. Its peculiarity is that over time, it generates research samples for the study of talents. There is support for the extractor, Star Salvage E40 is installed in the beginning. There are reverse main thrusters. Large warp range at the beginning, no virus for stealth boarding. There is no BL in the beginning. No stealth.
All CO ships except Roland have main thrusters. Back he can fly back only with the help of shunting.
VD ships
The WD Cruiser does not have an extractor and cannot be installed. Quite bold. There are no reverse main thrusters. No virus for stealth boarding. There is no BL in the beginning. No stealth.
The WD Destroyer, like the WD Cruiser, does not have an extractor and cannot be installed. Even fatter than the Cruiser, and sluggish. It has a Focus Laser Turret at the very beginning, no reverse main thrusters. No virus for stealth boarding. There is no BL in the beginning. No stealth.
The WD Annihilator is the weakest of the Air Force ships, but the only one that has an extractor support. Its peculiarity is that it consists almost entirely of experimental parts, and after each jump there is a chance of fire and damage to systems. No reversible main thrusters, no stealth boarding virus. There is no BL in the beginning. No stealth.
Ships AOG
The Stargazer is not a particularly fat ship. There is stealth. There are reverse main thrusters. There is support for an extractor, at the beginning The Remover is installed. There is a virus for stealth boarding. There is BL in the beginning.
The Carrier is even more frail in terms of shields than the stargazer, but sturdier in terms of plating. Small warp range. There is stealth. There are reverse main thrusters. There is support for an extractor, at the beginning The Remover is installed. There is a virus for stealth boarding. There is BL in the beginning.
The Sylvassi Swordship feature of this ship is that when you press the V key while in the piloting interface, it can shoot a beam. You can shoot only once per jump. Stealth charges 2 times faster, does not have a virus for stealth boarding. There is no BL in the beginning. Starts out on chaos 3.0
Fluffy Biscuit
This faction has only 1 ship.
Fluffy One's main feature of this ship is that when you start playing on it, instead of a burr gun, you are given an FB Multitool, with which you can sell biscuits at stations, it also completely replaces a burr gun. Not a fat ship, a large jump radius for a start, there is an extractor support and a nuclear bomb. Started with Star Salvage E40. No virus for stealth boarding. There is no BL in the beginning. No stealth
If you were interested in this mini idiotic guide, then I will improve it and add all sorts of different mechanics and bugs (and there will be a photo too, but I'm still in the bastard)
