Sounds like the beginning of a G-category movie.
Stepan, well, in fact, it is yes. The developers of the last project made 49 points on metacritics, so there is no particular faith in the project at all. BUT I will follow, suddenly this time there will be at least something interesting will turn out in some aspect of the project.
The environment is very sparse, if only there was human movement among the infrastructure, ala L4D.
Dinosaur meat scattering is certainly cool, but it is not clear how much fun it will be. Avalanches would have to slow down, they would have zadolbali flood the industry with packs of projectiles - it is better to work through one game from start to finish than to throw out some kind of semi-finished product again. However, one can only hope for the best.
This is how you look at the game on such videos and it seems to be good overall, but as soon as it is released, it will immediately become clear that the Nubian crosshair is non-disconnectable, the protagonist of legless and shadowless, and such melancholy immediately comes that you won't want to download the repack.
The developer of the game project Second Extinction has shared plans to release new content for its game, which will appear in Early Access on Steam on October 13.
The first update, which will be free, will appear in October-November this year. New hostile mutants and events will be added to the game, and it will also be possible to flexibly adjust the difficulty of the game. In the future, the developers promise a horde mode, seasonal events and new types of enemies, which will have a positive effect on the in-game variety of activities and opponents.
Shooter Second Extinction is designed for three players. An open world for exploration and brutal mass shooting of mutated dinosaurs will be available for players. At the start, for now, four types of dinosaurs and three characters of different classes will be available.
In addition to early access on Steam, the game will also be released on Xbox One and Xbox Series S / X, but at a later date.
I do not like the division into classes, where there are a lot of restrictions and a meager arsenal. An underbarrel shotgun / 40mm grenade launcher would be useful as an alternative.
Ideally: a full-fledged + 40mm assault rifle, a melee shotgun and a pestle.
A high jump, like in Rage 2, would also be appropriate to jump over the animals rushing at you.
In general, it seems to be playable, but still not the same.
Systemic Reaction has released a new trailer for its upcoming co-op shooter Second Extinction.
The trailer focuses on a feature called "War Effort", which serves as a metagame for allowing players to influence the state of the game world.

Spoiler
Almost a year has passed since Second Extinction went into Early Access, the game has come a long way since then, and today the developer of Systemic Reaction has shared the details of its biggest update.
Second Extinction is a co-op shooter in which dinosaurs take back the world by forcing humanity to hide their asses in orbital stations. From there, they occasionally send teams back to the surface to complete missions and combat them.
There's a lot going on in the big preseason 6 update, including a new game mode called Emergency Landing: Horde Mode. This is exactly what it sounds like: your amphibious assault ship crashed and you are stuck on the surface with only a pistol. Luckily for you, suppressing the dinosaur waves - the “horde,†you might say - brings you credits that allow you to buy new and better equipment so that death doesn't come immediately. Live long enough for you to earn a spot on the leaderboard (and some accompanying rewards) coming "soon."
The update will also add a new character named Sunetra, an explorer and support character that reduces incoming damage for squadmates and can use pheromones that make nearby dinosaurs attack each other. Sunetra will be the sixth playable character.
The update will include full support for crossplay between Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, Steam, Epic and Microsoft Store, as well as in-game voice chat and matchmaking lobbies. Defeated enemies will drop unique augmentations that give characters new abilities and customization options, a new wardrobe option will allow players to check every item in the game without opening them, and, of course, new contracts and rewards will appear.
The Pre-Season 6 Second Extinction update is due out on September 30th.
Spoiler
Systemic Reaction Studios will host a free weekend in the co-op shooter Second Extinction on PC. In the game, a group of players needs to regain control of the planet, which was captured by hordes of mutant dinosaurs.
The title is in Early Access and recently received its largest update. It has a horde mode with a defense against hundreds of dinosaurs, a new character, rewards and more.
In the main game, groups of users perform tasks on a large map: they clear zones, destroy dinosaurs and try to survive.
The Second Extinction Free Weekend on Steam is running. The game also received a big discount and can be bought for 279 rubles.
I played, on the whole quite cheerfully, but of course I won't buy it, I'll start with the pros:
Optimization is very good, as a rule at ultras 90-100fps, the graphon is generally pleasant, albeit a little sterile. The textures are crisp.
FOV is adjustable, but it's better not to put more than a hundred points, otherwise the fisheye is already starting.
The controls are excellent overall, but not perfect.
The shooting was good, but it could have been better.
There is a campaign, you can play alone, without bots - companions and generally playable.
There is a slide and slides in different directions.
There is climbing on a hill, very well animated.
The sprint is unlimited, although it could well have introduced a limitation.
Dinosaurs are cute enough, well animated.
Minuses:
Non-disconnectable crosshair, and in general the interface is a little overloaded, there is a lack of advanced interface settings.
The legless protagonist does not cast a shadow.
Reloading interrupts the sprint, the sprint interrupts the reloading, I don't like such crap in jokes, spoils the dynamics.
Not enough high jump, one of the Persians could have been given.
A third slot for weapons would not hurt: ideally 2 main ones + pestle.
They are forced to play as a woman, since only she has an arsenal of norms: an assault rifle and a shotgun, which is great for action at short and medium distances.
There is not enough Russian voice acting, because reading subwoofers in jokers is still a perversion.
If these disadvantages are not critical for you, then you should pay attention to the game.
