Tom clancy's XDefiant
Ubisoft has announced a new free shooter Tom Clancy's XDefiant. The game will combine intense gunplay with personalized gear and specialized factions.
Players will be able to personalize their character to suit their play style. Players can choose their faction, traits, abilities and ult. In addition, they can choose from an arsenal of primary and secondary weapons, attachments, and devices to complete their charge. Plus, they can customize their gear on the fly to adapt to the ever-changing battlefield.
Tom Clancy's XDefiant will also offer a variety of competitive 6v6 arena and linear game modes. For example, two of them are Domination and Escort. Players can combine this with a large pool of uniquely designed cards in rotation.
As stated in the press release, the factions of Wolves, Outcasts, Cleaners and Echelon will fight in iconic locations. Ubisoft will continue to add characters as the game develops, drawing on a range of characters and abilities from the Clancy universe and beyond.
Finally, the first test will kick off on August 5th for PC players in the US and Canada.
is it already possible to place bets when this garbage dies?
wangyu what's up to release
make a jester based on the division2, which looks worse than the division itself, it is of course a level
Did they choose that name just for the sake of sticking an xD smiley in there? What a shame

Last night Ubisoft announced the new shareware shooter Tom Clancy's XDefiant. The project in the Tom Clancy gaming universe should combine other studio projects: The Division, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six. The French publisher was hoping for a warm welcome from domestic fans and the gaming community, but most gamers were furious with the announcement of "yet another craft with elements of live service."
The debut trailer for Tom Clancy's XDefiant on YouTube has already collected more than 5 thousand dislikes, which significantly outweighs the likes. In the comments, users criticize the project for the lack of something really new, and on the forums, players are perplexed by the studio's plans.
Gamers simply do not understand why they need another shooter from Ubisoft. The company already has several major games in the genre and is about to release three more games in the same style. Many users also remembered the studio's announcements of interesting games that the company had forgotten about for some reason. For example, they remembered Beyond Good & Evil 2 and the pirate action Skull and Bones. There is no official news about these games for a long time. Users advised Ubisoft to direct its free forces to the development of already announced projects, instead of trying to make a ton of games-services.
Recall that Ubisoft recently announced a new development plan for the Assassin's Creed game franchise, which also mentioned the creation of a game with elements of the service. This development of the franchise also greatly disliked the fans.
Tom Clancy's XDefiant will be available on PC and consoles. The exact release date of the game will be announced later.
Spoiler

QuoteNo. Currently, you can only register for one platform, so keep that in mind when choosing.
This is what the FAQ of the official site says. The game is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation4, PlayStation5, PC, Google Stadia, so if you decide to take part in the beta test, think carefully about which platform to choose.

I'm interested in how such projects go through focus groups, etc.

The same people who use lgbt lighting wherever possible. So there is a demand

I thought the failure of Hyper Scape would enlighten them, it turned out they were still masochists.
Modified July 21 by ALF_9010I'm more surprised why they are doing another multiplayer shooter when they already have Division 2, R6 Siege, Hyper Scape and Outbreak is coming out in the future.
I couldn't even watch the trailer. Not because of the acid colors, but stupidly because of the frame rate of the trailer. It can be seen that the footages were made from the early beta where there is no optimization.
They can't even edit normally, let alone the game itself. Of course, I will not play this. I suppose there will be more byteupley, finally there will be an op.

Indeed, why do they do it, new modes can be added to the Rainbow. Well, or within the framework of the Rainbow to unite the universes, why the heck do another game?

on the division, too, some fritupleynuyu shit announced?
I have a suspicion that more people are developing all these games than the one who will play them

The XDefiant project was presented by Ubisoft a week and a half ago and managed to get a lot of dissatisfaction from fans of the Tom Clancy's universe during this time. The reason to be dissatisfied here, however, really is: we have a shareware "arena" action movie with division into factions and with unique abilities. Simply put, a kind of hybrid of Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch.
Now Ubisoft has decided to slowly start introducing players to the local battlegrounds, and it was decided to start with the Emporium and Air & Space maps. The first is a shopping center that is no longer used for its intended purpose, the second is a kind of museum or planetarium (it is not entirely clear from what you saw). Unfortunately, the general disappointment of users hoping for the announcement of the new Splinter Cell also extends to the innocent XDefiant cards - the number of "dislikes" under the corresponding video is unpleasantly off-scale.
Be that as it may, it is too early to wait for XDefiant - the project does not even have an approximate release date. This usually means that it doesn't make sense to wait until next year for the game, and that's the best case scenario.

Looking at the art, for some reason I remember bo3, but looking at the cards, the ears of the developers are immediately visible. Code gousts =)

I thought from the first videos that they were doing almost a pure clone of witchcraft, but in fact they got a Warface clone with an admixture of Overwatch and Sonic the Hedgehog, otherwise I can't explain why the characters collect freaking rings
KuP9I about rings: there are modes (and their variations) of the game - in the case of a witchcraft, it is called kill confirmed - where a token remains in place of a killed opponent, which must be picked up, and the team that first collects the required number of tokens wins. In mv2019 there is a variation of it called Grind, where the collected tokens must be taken to one of the points on the map and stood on it until they are counted.
Here is just such a variation - the person who scored X rings must survive for a certain time so that they go into the team's standings.
