Pilat.

The medal was "For victory over Germany in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945."

It is a symbol of victory. There are other awards were with the St. George ribbon.
In General, guys ...PP do not tear. Google, read. I understand that these Internets divorced many nasties, but considering what a mess now, I'll take my chances and offer you to familiarize myself with the story.

No way. Because it is not the St. George ribbon and guards band (black and orange). George (yellow and black) were in Russia, YOU lost.

And, that's it. But wikipedos che says:

Ribbons rang out in the framework of this campaign, called the George, although critics argue that in fact they correspond to the guards, as it means the symbol of victory in the great Patriotic war and have orange stripes, but not yellow.
