You definitely noticed it:!::!::!:
We will probably never see DNF. I thought that a similar fate would befall the possible GL ports of DN3d. After all, so much time has passed since the source code was released, and all that was done was the win32 port.
But then, quite unexpectedly, the creator of the Build engine released its OpenGL version, and another person added this version to his win port of Duke. : D

I will say right away - this is the first version of GL Duke from this author and it is not perfect and has glitches. But you can play it now! None of the creators of such ports have been able to go so far.
The third version of the port with OpenGL support has been released. Almost all the glitches of the first two versions have been eliminated, and those that have remained so insignificant that they do not interfere with the game in any way. You can download in the same place as previous versions [/ url].
I think it will be, over time, of course. The main thing is that the base has been created - a fully working OpenGL Build engine with Duke3d support.
If you liked the original, it's definitely worth a try. I don’t know the minimum requirements, but I don’t think that they are very high. The port is not perfect yet, and there are still some minor glitches, which, however, does not prevent you from completing the game completely. In addition to OpenGL support, it is already possible to use high quality 3d models and textures. You can find out more about the created texture-packs and models on the source forum - http: //forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/p ... & sb = 5 & o = 93 [/ url].
Well, the JFduke project page is still the same http://jonof.edgenetwork.org/buildport/duke3d [/ url].
How much does the "new" Duke with 3d models weigh?
[offtopic] can there be a thread somewhere about DooM reworked on the engine with 3d models too? [/ offtopic]
No Duke with models. There is the "JFDuke" port itself (weighing 500 kilos in the archive) and separate texture packs (weighing a lot) plus models. But don't forget that textures and models are still far from complete.
Well, am I really that bad at explaining, huh?
There are packs of textures and models that you can use along with the OpenGL version of Duke. You will have to download and install all this separately. In addition, the work on creating these packs is not yet complete and not all textures and sprites can be replaced. And initially in Dos' Duke, of course, there were no 3d models or hi-res textures.
Is it clearer now?
Swung, the latest version. I threw everything into the root folder, I do not start it. What need to do??? Helpeeeeeeee !!!! Maybe what else needs to be uploaded ??? : upset:
Yes, nothing else seems to be needed, only the port files and the original DUKE3D.GRP.
Tell me in more detail - what does he write, does it give any errors, isn't your Duke Roussefe [b] feces [/ b] izovanny?
There are two files. Duke's executor is called that and the executable pfu, which launches this whole thing.
