Interaction of extra gold and magic find mods (Diablo 2)

Is it worth completely abandoning the extra gold mod on gear if you are going to fly for gear on bosses by typing mf? Some say that it is better not to carry xtra gold with you at the same time with mf (for example, with a unique alibaba), because then a lot of gold will pour in instead of gear. I myself flew a little mefa / andi, having a speckled amul with extragold, gheed and chance guards, and quite often this happened. What do you think about this?

Gold will fall this way and that, extragold only regulates what percentage of the gold bonus you get, it does not participate in the selection of the vehicle.
And, if it comes to that, the mf doesn't affect either. MF affects only the quality of the clothes that was selected from the TS. The amount of gear is regulated by the level of the mob, the number of players in the game and the number of players at a distance of 2 screens from the killed mob.

It does not interfere. From the word at all. Another thing is that there is no sense at all from the gf with the quest drop.
