Does not retain steering wheel settings (DiRT Rally)
Wheel Logitech MOMO Racing - determined, configurable, but after you exit the game the settings are default, like on the gamepad. Distribution - license crack for Intel Core i7.2600K.Every time after launching the game to configure the wheel. Who knows what to do ?

In previous games, Codemasters have was every time after starting the game press Start on the wheel.

No. In all the past DiRT all switching in the menu was from Claudia, and the race from the wheel.
And how to press start on the wheel, if the wheel is disabled (meaning it should re-detect and configure)
In DiRT 3 all wheels have been in the file _\folder games\actionmap\...and where it was possible to prescribe all the settings and save, but in Rally, there are no such folders and files. God knows where these configuration files.
Now made running the game from the Logitech Profile and in game works from the steering wheel, buttons on the steering wheel and the keyboard, but the buttons on the steering wheel and other steering wheel settings only by default. You can certainly remap the buttons and settings on the steering wheel, but when you next start the game (from Logitech Profile) they will still default. In General, all this is awkward, but otherwise it does not work.
I do not know as with other wheels, but cant see the obvious game.
Did another experiment:
- the game was installed on E (Sata) with Windows on C (SSD).
- install the game on another hard drive (C Sata - c in Windows) and set the wheel (without the Logitech Profile).
After the next start of the game, the wheel automatically detected, but the buttons are steering only by default.
- it turns out that not only the crack is geared for a specific processor, but the game itself is designed for the installation on drive C. Funny!!!

I have a similar wheel to not reset settings, you need start the game with the keyboard, I always do and flies, I read your topic and tried the start game button on the steering wheel and once flew, checked several times.
By the way the Logitech Profile I created and about your experiments with the disks E and C, the game on the drum where it is located, everything works fine on any drive.

About the start of the game - I'll try and check it out.
About the drive E - fact: C the wheel is determined automatically, and E - no need to manually.

About the start of the game - really if you start the game with keyboard, steering wheel settings I can't get.
Thanks for the advice.
By the way, if you have a system Win.7 x64 what driver you install for the Logitech x64 and where ?
I'm doing it: first install the native driver x32 (with CD) to Program Files (x86)\ ,and then install the driver Win.7 x64 (downloaded from the Internet lgs500enu_x64.exe - 6,32 MB) in \Program Files\
driver x32 gives cover and steering wheel settings, and driver Win.7 x64 allows you to work the cover and the steering settings in Windows 7.

I do not know, I have no other steering. I actually think this wheel is the best:
1. Racing (+- 120)
2. Accurate.

The disk I have, the file driver is called lgs510_x64.exe size 16 MB, version 5.10.127, there is just the shell and driver.

Yes. Thats my old file. Now downloaded lgs510_x64.exe 16,5 MB. But the most interesting another:
- on the hard drive (Sata - C\ where Windows and games) driver x32 is installed in CProgram Files(x86)\, and driver x64 in CProgram Files. The wheel is set right and working properly on all games.
- and on the hard drive (SSD - C\Windows Sata c - ERacing) driver x32 is installed in CProgram Files(x86)\, and the x64 driver is installed, but where is unknown and nowhere to be seen. The wheel works fine on all games except DiRT Rally (not detected automatically).
Wonders what is. It is not clear. Maybe you have some ideas ?

Garbage. 5.10 is the same , but with updated system drivers. In General, some dead end.
So this 16MB file is nowhere to be seen which is installed in the programs it is not. Only visible x32.

try to clean all the wood, and then run lgs510_x64.exe size 16 MB in the installed programs will appear in Logitech Gaming Software 5.10
