Connects to Wi-Fi, but no internet connection.
There is a D-link DIR-655 router, today I changed the provider from MTS (static IP) to Rostelecom (dynamic IP). Since the stationary computer is directly connected to the router via a patch cord, there is Internet (and in several possible configurations (Dynamic IP, PPTP, Russia PPTP (Dual Access). The bottom line is that, unlike wired Internet), Wi-Fi does not work : the laptop and the phone are hooked up, they are given an IP address, but there is no Internet connection.Tried all possible Internet connection options (namely Dynamic IP, PPPoE, L2TP, PPTP and still the same, but Dual Access) - neither with one of the types of connections, Wi-Fi is not “on friendly terms.†The provider's contract contains only a username and password.3 Comments

When connected, Rostelecom gives a router for rent for free, but you will have to do the final configuration yourself. Most often, this is a dbr 2041 router, http://tvoi-setevichok.ru/setevoe-oborudovanie/kak-nastroit-universalnyiy-wifi-router-qbr-2041ww-rostelekom.html I have never understood people who buy routers , because any provider provides them for free.
