Adaptive brightness control

Hello. Help solve the problem with changing the brightness of the monitor. I have the most common budget philips with a resolution of 1600 * 900. I noticed that the monitor automatically lowers and increases the brightness when watching a movie, playing games and just in the browser if I switch tabs. If the picture on the screen is dark, then the brightness becomes even darker and vice versa. On the Internet I found out that "adaptive brightness control" is responsible for this parameter and that you need to turn it off. Turned it off - but nothing has changed .. I switched the power supply to maximum performance, but nothing helps. Who knows what could be the cause and how to deal with it? It would be very helpful, otherwise the eyes are calloused by this automatic brightness control
