Free Hours of Play Origin (Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2)

Explain to me please! In Origin, they give me 10 hours of gameplay, or they open the game for exactly 10 hours (no matter how much I play, for example 2 hours out of 10). How it works?
