Fps drop after 1-2 hours of game (Forza Horizon 5)
After an hour or two games, the load on the video card drops to 15-30%, fps drops to 30-15 frames, only restarting the game helps, who faced it and what to do, how to solve the problem !? The card is 2060 super, the settings are very high and extreme textures, the average fps is 90-100 frames, in the city it does not fall below 75.I also have 8 gigs of video memory. So when you put Extreme textures, sometimes a warning about a lack of video memory appears, and the FPS drops by 2 times. Try lowering the texture quality a little. There, extreme textures apparently were not optimized normally.
On the 2080s, this is bullshit. After an hour and a half, about an hour, the load on the vidyuhu drops and the FPS too. You have to restart the game. We are waiting for fixes.
P.S. out of memory warnings did not pop up
GTX 980 Ti high settings, stable 60 fps. And also after about 2 hours, the FPS falls 2 - 3 times.
Turn off the overlay in the Geforce Experience settings, you will be happy. =)
I don’t understand how it works, fps began to drop, horizon life turned off, everything became normal, I connect back (without leaving the game) again more than 35 frames do not rise, in a single game everything is fine or restarting helps.
RTX2070super, I thought something was wrong with me) the symptoms are the same, stupidly drops from 100 to 30fps in 1-1.5 hours. restarting 100% heals, we wait for fixes, as usual

How do you manage to play like this at 100 fps. At me at 3070 even below 60 it constantly drops.

is the same nonsense, we are waiting for the optimization patch, it looks like we won't wait ...
I agree, 100 fps is possible at a resolution of 1920/1080, but as for me 2560/1440 and with the settings - very good. high, produces 60, with a gradual drop to 55-50. Percentage though not quite for my vidyuhu 2060s - just a six-core I5-9400F. I want to try the eight-core I7-8700 K. Or wait for the patch, which is not guaranteed. There were no problems on Forza 4 and on my hardware.

The i7-8700K is not an eight-core processor! It has 6 cores, 12 threads.

Another problem! It has 8 cores, 8 threads, if there were 16 threads, it would get additional performance.

My friend, a question for you as a pro: What does it mean in the screen settings of the game recording - HDR monitor is not detected. And this despite the fact that this very monitor of mine robs in UHD resolution, i.e. 2560 // 1440 both in the game and autonomously with very good high graphic settings, with the appropriate hardware (see above). The only thing is that the connection to the system unit is through the display port. Maybe you need to connect via HDMI cable or do you need some kind of special monik? What do you think? What is the difference, if any, with the HDR monica picture?

HDR requires DisplayPort 1.4, what is your monitor model? An article on how to set up HDR on a Windows 10 computer
