Please help with registration (tanks) (American Truck Simulator)
Good day to all!I am asking for help from the pros in modding, because I myself cannot figure out how to make a registration so that it is beautiful and functional.
The crux of the problem (so to speak) is this:
When the developers added International LT to the game, together with it, they added the ability to change the fuel tank and its volume regardless of the chassis.
So I decided to make a mod for myself with different tanks on Mack Anthem, I divided the tank into three parts: a separate tank, separate fastening straps and a separate wall (sidewall) of the tank and each part has its own dumis. Plus, the material of all these parts wants to alternate so that there is a choice (painted, aluminum, chrome). All functionality works, the size of the tank changes, everything is fine, the problem can be said to be purely aesthetic.
But now I have a problem with registration. Everything is assembled only if you prescribe in the chassis that a certain tank, wall and belt are set by default, but as soon as I want to select another tank that is not assigned to the chassis, the wall and belt are removed and they must be manually installed. And while the tank looks full of holes. Like the picture below.

It's kind of playable and you can leave it that way.
But maybe there are options to register as the walls and the belt to the tank so that when you change the tank everything was on it.

In def, write defaults for each chassis by analogy. Conflicts with chassis conflicts, e.g. a short chassis cannot be fitted with a large cab, etc.

I know this, I wrote that I want to reduce the amount of registration in the chassis by changing the volume of the tank with the tank, not the chassis

Hmm, then I will assume that the indication of the tank volume should be removed completely from the chassis def. And either leave it that way, or write it in the def of the tank, if it suddenly does not work. Write the wall and belts in the def of the tank too.
Youxyxol the
latter does not work (register in the def of the tank)
Here is an example of how the tank is registered
