Editing Parameters (Mass Effect 3)
Hello everyone. My goal is to edit (increase) the "scan range" of the thermal imaging sight.
I don't really know what this characteristic is by default, but I do know that it is relatively small. And for a sniper thermal imager (for 4x zoom) it is very small. And I also don’t know where this characteristic is located, moreover, I didn’t find a thermal sight, as such, in coalesced.bin; it is understandable - this modification, judging by the description, is from the DLC ("Citadel" for assault rifles, "Omega" for sniper rifles).
What ideas do you have on this subject?

According to the logic of the developers: the range of an assault rifle is, say, 100 meters, and the range of a sniper rifle is 250 meters. At the same time, for 200 meters, the enemies no longer react to the hero. And the useful visibility of a sniper rifle is one kilometer. Where should I shoot if enemies do not appear 300 meters away yet? The sniper rifle, as such, turns out to be a tactically ineffective type of weapon.
The thermal imager itself - its range, by analogy, will be 50 meters, for both assault and sniper rifles.
