Shield Issues (Dark Souls 3)

Guys, I lost my shield! That just disappeared! At the location of the Chapel of Purification, when I started approaching the fire, my Persian simply removed the shield and that's it! He's in the inventory, but he doesn't dress, anybody doesn't dress at all. Guys, can anyone come across with a similar problem?

tried to scroll further, change the first weapon to the second or third?

if you play on the campaign, then just press the left arrow, well, sort of like, this should be the problem
