Robots don't trade. (Fallout 4)

hello, I put a robot behind the counter and they do not show the goods in the same dialogs as without an appointment for the counter, although it is shown that the robot is assigned to trade and the counter shows that it is occupied by a merchant, they are doing fine with people. help, what's wrong?

version of the game? The penultimate beta patch says "Robots can now be assigned as settlement vendors". Apparently, it does not work on previous versions.
