What is the best SET ??? (Diablo 2)
What is the best SET ???for someone or in general?
if for a certain class - then it is obvious which set is the best:
for Amazons - M'avina's Battle Hymn of
paladins - Griswold's Legacy - the strongest, in my opinion, set, because it allows you to vary the characteristics of
barbarians - Immortal King - is also not bad, but! most items - more difficult to collect) there is still a variant of Bul-Katos' Children - for those who are used to carrying 2 weapons - the very
druids - Aldur's Watchtower - but this set, IMHO, the weakest
assassins - Natalya's Odium
forty - Tal Rasha's Wrappings
Necromancers - Trang-Oul's Avatar and
also an interesting set - Sazabi's Grand Tribute. 3 things, but not weak)
and if at all - uniq'and collect - it will be better;)
Another good question - how many sets does it make sense to collect it completely?
1) Tal Rasha - the full set bonus seems to be very cool, but at what cost is it given?
- A hat is an absolutely mediocre thing for a caster (manalich? Lifeleach? Lack + skills?);
- The wand seems to be nothing, but there is much better - a good rar, Oculus (although the teleport spoils it very much), Death Fathom, Heart of the Oak.
Already the Harlequin's Crest + HotO hat easily beat the full set bonus and related items.
Armor, amulet and belt - in principle, nothing, usually magpies and use them in such a combination, although unics, in my opinion, could be better picked up.
2) IK - barbarian set:
Good set, but:
- no block;
- the weapon has a radius of 2, which is very bad for a warlwinder;
- + skills are not enough;
- there are still better alternatives.
For example, War Travelers boots + Arreat's Face hat + Arkaine's Valor armor will be IMHO better than similar items from the set, even taking into account the loss of the set bonus.
3) Bul-Kathos:
- knockback frenzier (and the set, apparently, was planned just for him) sometimes gets in the way, IMHO, this property is useful only for archers / throwers;
- weapons are definitely better than these two swords, even comparable in rarity, for example, if Collossus Blade fell out to you not green, but gold, Grandfather, IMHO, would be much better.
4) M'avina's - Amazon set for a bow:
- slow bow - won't roll for a strafe;
- bovazonka in 1.10 is a very specific character that requires specific things and if you wear Mavina, then there is practically no room for maneuver. For example, she needs a lot of Crushing Blow, and where to get it - all the seats are already taken.
5) Trang Oul's:
- gloves + trophy - this is almost a must-have for a poisoner, but that's about it;
- for the rest - we are losing possible skills that we need, like air;
- although the belt is not bad - it gives Cannot be Frozen, which frees us one ring from Ravenfrost for Stone of Jordan.
6) Aldur's:
- no special pies for the elementalist, and the shapeshifter does not need such a weak weapon for nothing;
- there would be a set for mid-levels - you could still understand, but why is the armor from the set already a whole Shadow Plate (i.e. very rare)?
So - indeed, unics and rune words in 1.10 rule godlessly. Sets - there are very good individual things, it makes sense to have something in the form of two or three items from a set, but I personally don't see super-duper complete sets.
Bullet-Tooth Tony
Already the Harlequin's Crest + HotO hat easily hits the full set bonus
Not easy and does not hit at all for any magpie. The TR set is the best, especially if you stick facets, not topazes.
Dosmotr Bullet-Tooth Tony ... Not easy and generally not hitting for any magpie. The TR set is the best, especially if you stick facets, not topazes.
To answer the dude to the post in 2005 as norms, just the opposite, it would be another matter if you answered simply on the topic - this is not such a terrible crime (ordinary necroposting), which is punishable by a modernist very conditionally - by removing the post, but for your crime the punishment is very harsh - the diagnosis "clinical schizophrenia" or something like that, nothing personal, just a sober assessment of what he saw.
