Why develop Oblivion modding? (The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion)
I would like to know your opinion on why Oblivion modding is worse than Skyrim. Is it impossible to bring mods, Oblivion, to a level better than Skyrim. Is it possible to add new original locations and quests from Skyrim to Oblivion. And why hasn't anyone done it so far?Do not know who it is there whining about the fact that modding in Oblivion is worse than in Skyrim, it is more difficult to create and dock everything, yes, but in terms of interesting ideas and their implementation, then everything is exactly the opposite.
Regarding the addition of locations from Skyrim to Oblivion, there are people here who think that all this is somehow not lore, which makes them simply not consider such a thing. There are those who consider it better to create something new or implement their own idea rather than trying to fit the locations and tasks already seen into another part of the game.
Well, now about what was encountered: some models and textures I saw from Skyrim have already been implemented in the form of mods, but all this is so, small trifles, or anything grandiose.

Duc Obl and without mods better than Skurim.

Ovald In Skyrim and Oblivion, graphic mods such as ENB and SweetFX are actively developing.
And all that remains is that you need to breathe new life into these legendary games: add quests, locations and new functions to improve the game

Maybe because Oblivion is the past? Even Skyrim is already a thing of the past.
Well, it will be for you. It is still quite alive and even modding on it is quite good and very much nothing. Oblivion currently has at least two independent global projects that are being developed and maintained.

1. Russian project: "Oblivion Association", development is underway here: http://rubarius.ru/
2. It seems like it is being carried out somewhere over the hill, but forgot the name, on the site that gave the link there is a discussion to it.
