The problem with the ASUS STRIX-GTX970 video card
Good day to all! I purchased this card (ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5, GTX 970, 4096MB, GDDR5) and immediately ran into such problems. While working in "heavy" games, after a while (3-7 minutes) a strong noise is heard (as I understand it, from the fans of the video card, which start to work at full power).
The noise is very loud - even during the day, with a general background, what can we say about the night.
Well, this is still half the trouble, much worse is that in some games, after a different amount of time, the computer simply throws it into a reboot (or rather, it just turns off - the BIOS entry menu appears).
Thermaltake 630W power supply unit, there were no problems with it before (there was a GF650TIGTX video card)
i5 4670 processor (3.40GHz), 8 gigs of memory, two WD hard drives for 500 and 1000 GB.
The temperature in games did not rise above 68 degrees.
I updated the BIOS and set vertical sync in the video driver settings, the noise decreased significantly, but again there was a crash.
There is no opportunity to test with another power supply unit, as well as there is no way to check the performance of a video card from friends (it simply does not fit into their system units).
It is worth taking a video card under warranty, or maybe you can somehow eliminate these problems. It's a pity to take it - I hardly bought it in our city (if it will be replaced very soon, if it will change at all, I ordered it through the online store)
Thank you in advance for your answers!

well, the method with vertical synchronization has been known for a long time)
You can put adaptive synchronization instead of the usual synchronization.

Well, it helps) why in games it is more than 60 fps - it will not be more noticeable to the eye, but about the FPS race, so there is more marketing ploy of companies producing components, well, or you will use 4K (resolution) , but here completely different video cards are needed in terms of performance.
Tell me please. I bought exactly the same video card, at any load the sound is like from a generator, but it's still half the trouble in GTA 5, constant freezes after 15 minutes of playing and not only in GTA, when the noise from the video card disappears, the game immediately hangs.
