Strict NAT (Grand Theft Auto 5)
Hi. While playing GTA online, I get the message "Your NAT is too strict and it can cause lags, blah blah."I tried to open ports manually, but in this case they remain closed. Will putting my computer in the DMZ help? ip is static.
Author_Nick Pirate does
not work in Avast SecureLine;)

By the way, how did you determine that you have strict NAT?
On the Network Information tab in the Social Club settings in the game, did you look?
I have GTA online for Windows 10, there is a strict NAT mode. I can not open ports
tcp 80, 443
udp 6672, 61455-61458
registered them in my native firewall, but the result is the same, I punched these ports through 2ip I have closed.
maybe I'm doing something wrong.
my ISP (megaphone) does NOT use network address translation (NAT) I clarified. that is, I can set the ports myself
How many topics can you create?
Is it really difficult to drive the request "Opening ports on ..." into Google and enter your router model there?

Here is a slightly different forum. About GTA V.)))
And by the way, it is useless to punch ports through 2ip. It works crookedly.

here is a general forum for the game, it is somehow connected with the game. yes I googled, I did not find anything efficient

You wrote in the previous topic that there is no static IP. That is, your connection is behind the provider's equipment. Therefore, NAT will be strict anyway. As I wrote there, the only way out is to use VPN networks.
I have a similar problem. But my address is dynamic and NAT is moderate. But there are problems with connecting to the servers and at startup it constantly gives an error 213: "Failed to connect to update servers"
add your computer on the route to the DMZ. ports will be open all ... minus your computer will be vulnerable from the net ... if you have a dynamic IP then don't care.

look ... there is such a topic .... depending on what route ... forgot to say first you need to reserve Ip for the computer (because every time the computer starts up, its local IP will change), so look for something related to DHCP, it should be stuck there "Reservation of IP addresses", and then register this IP in the DMZ. Nat and Upnp should be on. If the provider does not block it should help .. or write a model, let's see what there is)

1) DHCP (then the DHCP Client List submenu) see what IP the computer has.
2) Address Reservation (specify the poppy and the IP of the computer in the DHCP Client List) save) This is done so that the route does not update the IP of the computer. It will always be like this ... well, until you turn off this function.
3) Forwarding (item DMZ) Enable and register the IP of the computer. save and reboot route.
PS, of course, you can open ports manually in Virtual Servers (but for GTA this will not give any sense)

damn ... well then I even xs .... you can certainly try to add the ports they require in Virtual Servers to the appendix ... but there won't be a hundred percent sense ... although they somehow get in touch with the DMZ. . Nat and UpnP enabled?
