How to deal with Windows 7 32 bit

How to deal with Windows 7 32 bit. There is a license, and to play new games you need 64 bit. I understand that you just need to install a new one and that's it. But how to choose what would be stable and work without glitches.

SonyK. The meaning of which is
probably the same as installing x86 .. there are hardly any applications now that do not support x64 (however, they do not seem to care, any will go to x64), and although many games no longer support x86, they need more memory for them .. or not? maybe it will pull at minimum wages ..

Basically, the majority began to switch to x64 because of games - and once they started asking for 4 GB of RAM or more in the minimum salaries , the meaning in x86 was gone. For x64, software written for 32/64 bit will go - with the older (16 bit) problems may arise.

SonyK. with the older (16 bit) I
can't even imagine such software in modern realities, but in any case it is inapplicable to the seven .. that is, either ancient hardware and then the maximum piggy, or, starting with the seven, the meaning in x86 is completely absent ..

I have one such application (I use it very rarely) - it works only on XP x86, on 7 (32/64 bits) it does not want to run in any, compatibility mode does not help. I install XP Mode (virtual Windows XP) in 7-ku for it.
For old games (which do not require 4 gig to run) XP, Vista and 7 (x86) will do just fine. But XP does not support DirectX higher than 9.0c, and although DX11 was "screwed" in Vista, it's hard for me to judge how it works there. When I used it, it was only vidyuha with DX10.1, when I bought it from DX11, I changed Vista to 7-ku.

so it turns out that if the game requires Windows x64, but at minimum it can go with three gigs of operatives, then this is a reason to put x64, but there are no reasons to sit on x86 ..

It's not a fact that a game designed for a larger amount of RAM will work normally - in "difficult" moments, a lack of RAM can affect performance. If the developers have not provided for this, the paging file may not help.

I agree that it may have an effect, and may not help, but at the same time, this is a completely different question .. 32 bits have outlived their usefulness, contrary to the opinion of Gavrik, more than a dozen 32-bit ones exist, although personally I do not quite understand why, I think chuvachok slightly ahead of time, 11th (or immediately 12th))) will probably already be only 64 (or already 128))); although it is quite possible that I do not quite understand something here, let's see ..

128 is not needed by anyone. Anyway, only a very cool server fully uses 40-bit memory addressing.
