three days Grace
The Three Days Grace group sunk deep into the soul, but among my acquaintances no one listens to it, so I wanted to know someone listened or just heard about / about the group, if yes, then share your impressionsWell. Nu metal has its roots in grunge on one side and new school thrash metal on the other. I won't be able to explain in detail the essence of thrash metal of the new school, because I haven't studied this style especially. Here grunge is, roughly speaking, a four-chord melodic punk-rock with a depressing sound, an average speed of performance and a characteristic alternation of a verse that is lightly loaded with distortion, and vice versa, a "noisy" chorus. Derived from American hardcore punk, in particular, bands such as Fugazi and Husker Du influenced its formation.
That is, if I understood nu-metal correctly, is it heavy grunge, or lightweight thrash metal, or vice versa?
This is a mixture of grunge and thrash metal of the new school, and the proportion can be whatever - this is what determines, for example, the dissimilarity of Linkin Park and Slipnot. Linkin Park gravitates more towards grungy roots, while Slipknot is noticeably more metallic.
Yes. Nu metal is quite a broad style, there is nothing to be surprised at.
Korn for sure, and in my opinion some other group is also one of the brightest representatives
