In my opinion, it is possible to play well only in closed sessions with a few trusted friends who are serious about the matter. If there are none, it is better to play alone. IMHO.

It is quite possible to play and swing alone. I myself played somewhere like that until lvl 70. Most of the tasks in the game (I mean just tasks, not robberies) can be completed alone (1-2 or 1-4 people - you can easily go through one). It is quite possible to do 100k for an hour. I would advise you to save up some money and buy 1) armored Kuruma, and 2) Buzzard (for missions with multiple targets and a timer). These two vehicles will allow you to go alone without straining everything that can be passed alone in this game. You can play without them, but longer and harder. If the goal is exactly quality, the proposed option is preferable. As for the prices for these expensive vehicles, just save up money and wait for discounts, they happen regularly. And it will fight off faster than you might think.
Do not play with random games at all, it is better to play together only with adequate friends. If you collect (or fit into) a good team, then it is really possible to pass the genius and the elite. I'm not even talking about the tasks - they click like nuts. And, by the way, for the joint passage of tasks they give more money and RP than when you pass alone.
