Yesterday I installed it, but it only works up to 900 MHz, regardless of the load. I tried various manipulations on the advice of the Internet, such as changing the settings in the BIOS, tried to reset the BIOS - nothing helps. What can you try to do to understand whether he is a worker at all or not? For the sake of interest, I watched the unpacking video, no one had any problems, it worked right away. One more thing - it does not always start the first time and hangs on reboot, only a forced reboot saves. Mother of asus p5p43td. I myself am not particularly in this matter, so I can't cope without advice))
That's just the point, I put it manually, I save it, it reboots - a dark screen. I reboot with the button on the system unit - everything is in "auto" in the BIOS. Can it be true that you can somehow update the BIOS, or Windows?

How to send it here? Now I looked at the compatibility of the mother and the processor - starting with the BIOS version 0302 they are compatible. I have 0502, so there is no need to update the BIOS

So, where I stopped: first I tried to put my old percent (e6600), it started up as it should - 3.06 GHz, moreover, I changed the frequency in the BIOS, overclocked it to 3.4 GHz for a sample at random. I installed q9650, dropped the BIOS along the way with the help of a battery - there is no effect. I updated the BIOS to the latest version - nothing changes, it also starts the second time and up to 0.9 GHz. Then I have only 2 thoughts - to reinstall Windows (I don't even know how to connect it), or to reject the percent
