Patch 1.08.4 will not help. Volkolak does not die in any - even provoke everyone to a fight, even only fight with him.
Solution - download DLC for STEAM (either 12th or 11th). Drop into the game folder in the DLC folder. It helped me. After the wolkolak, save and insert back the "native" GOG.

There was this problem at 1.08. This wolf did not die either. The problem was solved by installing patch 1.08.2. It is strange that it still manifests itself at 1.08.3.

As far as I know, wolfcrow became immortal after patch 1.07. People wrote that there is a fix, but I did not find it. Only the temporary replacement of the DLC with the Steam version helped.
