I haven't completed the game myself yet, but I'm wondering if there will be a second installment of this great post-doomsday survivor simulator

This is a regular PSN / XBLA game. Not AAA, without serious habits, just a low-budget (in a good way) creation with a couple of interesting ideas. No sequels.
