It happened when a demon threw me from the Ostankino tower, but I didn't die and ended up there.
While playing Metro 2033 I noticed a glitch with shadows.
The shadows generated by the light source on the head of the main character sometimes blink. If you stand and do not move, then everything is fine. But if you slowly move the mouse and look at the shadows from objects, you will notice that sometimes they disappear, and then reappear (blink). It is clearly visible on the shadows from the grilles and wires.
I tried it on DX9 and DX10 and DX11 modes, everything is the same.
I tried it on the old version of the game and installed Update2, everything is the same.
In the game with graphics, everything is cool, but this small glitch spoils the whole atmosphere.
I use the following config:
Intel Core i5-750, RAM 4GB,
Video GeForce GTX 460, firewood 260.89
Very High settings.
Maybe someone knows how to win?
There is one big BAG throughout the game! It's the physics of characters and objects. After death, the character (mutant) falls to the ground for a long time, it's annoying. Like on the moon.

Try disabling PhisX and / or lowering the quality.
Or is it so conceived by the developers (i.e. the texture of the wall is like this).

No difference. I have already changed it, and this is not only on this wall. On some textures, for example, when light hits a wall or floor, it is light. Appears on both DX9 and 10.

It turns out this is a problem with the game engine. Many have this. No solution, related to cube lightmaps and high definition textures. 4A hasn't released any patches since its release, of course.

1. Are you definitely RIGHT trying to take the weapon (not by pressing the corresponding button, but holding it)?

replayed the nearest checkpoint 20 times, and in some cases I could take cartridges and Ulman's rifle, but it fell into inventory and was not picked up. I replayed the previous mission completely - the bug passed =))) Thank you all!
