Video card (Batman: Arkham Knight)

Hello everyone, Playgrounders,
I want to know who didn’t try to run on 1 g video card
, I just have 1 GB and buy (there is money, but I don’t want to spend on video, especially since they are very expensive)

Well, in principle, you can go broke on 960 ... but I hope for a long time.

Above in his message, he also cited Radeon video cards. (generally supplemented it).

GTX960 will last for a long time to comfortably play everything new and old for several years, if you do not chase ultra-graphics and 60 fps

750ti - there is a good option from Palit (750ti dual, with two fans, does not require additional power and is slightly overclocked)

oh really forgot to write
Video card GTX 560SE

And if I could go to Russia I would buy R9 280x (it's not much better than GTX 960) and the price is almost the same and we don't have such video cards
I would even buy R9 380

After this game I installed Arkham City (GOTY) and to be honest, even at low levels knight is more interesting. Still, the decalization is higher. The cat is just not enough :(.
I recently went through it again, like Origins, and I will say this - the textures have not grown, but the effects, lighting, the game has become much better.

In my settings, only two items were available - low and normal textures
I as I understand it, this is the case for everyone.

On normal slide shows in the city,
almost the same. Not slides, but waiting every 10 seconds for 2-3 is poor, but I don’t say anything about driving in general - here it’s exactly 5-10 frames.

But the game itself is average for my taste.So-so plot, weak characters and very few of them
I had about the same feeling from the first couple of hours before getting a new suit, then everything somehow began to play. Now, while the personal assessment fluctuates around 8-8.5 points, sometimes it happens that I would put a nine, especially when the Joker appears, but yes, it’s weaker than City, but at least better than Origins.

Personally, I liked the side quests more, with the exception of demining, where you have to stomp with a bunch of tanks.
And on the contrary, I like everything about five (or seven, I won’t say for sure) hours, now I’m releasing Selina, and the chain with the Riddler is not bad. It’s a pity that I won’t solve everything, everything, everything, because in AC, some kind of additional mission opens or something, I think, and there should be something similar here.

took a GTX 960 (2Gb). The Witcher 3 flies to the maximum just ..... with a resolution of 1280 by 720 ..... thanks for the advice

Glad to help. How much did you take?
Do you have HairWorks enabled in the game settings?

V
Vovanlavrov 14.01.22

Brannan
Took for 15,000 rubles. HairWorks put only on Herald - it gives out from 50 to 60 fps .... you turn it on all the way - from 30 to 40 ..... in general, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

You know Windows XP is still supported by Microsoft for the military and some commercial organizations (for a fee). But this is clearly not a priority, and so Nvidia has the same thing with cards (current without money). There will be support, but what kind?)))

And respect you! I bought it and without any snot, they say - "yes, there is a thin tire !!! it doesn’t pull in 4K at all!". And then you can read worse shit :D

I don't know why I need this, but I'll ask:
What kind of support are you talking about, drivers? New versions of drivers for the Kepler architecture will be written for a long time, Expiriense and SLI will be supported no less. The only difference is that the new drivers will be more focused on the Maxwell architecture, but this does not mean that the GTX 750ti will dramatically become more powerful than the GTX 660. The maximum will catch up or even surpass it, but only in single games, but not everywhere. If the video card is initially powerful, why buy an analogue, but on a new architecture, if the performance does not change?

I'm looking at benchmarking these graphics cards in games. There is a noticeable difference, especially in new games, and the calculation is made on them. You correctly said that - "The maximum will catch up or even overtake, but only in single games, but not everywhere." All the same, if you already take something new, especially since there is a difference from the same GTX 660. And at the expense of support, the 900 series of cards will have better support for DirectX 12, and still knowing Nvidia how they coddle with new architectures, we can assume drivers will be correspondingly better for the new series. I will only agree that, at the time of the release of the 600 series, it made sense to take these video cards. But already two generations of GPUs have changed. Why buy these cards now?

B
Brannan 14.01.22

NerAzyl
Let's just say. Two generations have changed, but architecture has only one. The 900 series is quite expensive, and the cheap versions are just the same as the 600 and 700 series. Moreover, there are very few budget cards of the 900 series. And in general they go from 18k. And if you do not want to lay out such an amount, then what choice? just the 600 and 700 series.
At the moment, the GTX 660 is more powerful than the GTX 750ti, and when the second one will catch up is still unknown. In the future, the picture will only look like this: new games will slow down on both these cards and probably about the same (660 will try to pull due to the power of the GPU, 750ti due to optimization and drivers). I already wrote about support for DX 12 above, which will be supported by Fermi, Kepler and Maxwell architectures.

In general, if you need a video card "today" in order to play a game "today", then it is better to take a more powerful one for the same money than a newer one. For "tomorrow", which was newer, will also not cope, as well as more powerful. And if the question arises about buying an expensive video card, for example GTX 970 or GTX 780, then here you can give priority to the new line, since the power of these cards will last for a long time, but the new one will also have better optimization.

I have a GTX770 4 gb, do you think it will pull on high?

B
Brannan 14.01.22

mega5nekit Will
pull. At least it should. The game is overly unoptimized. After a few patches, I think, it will pull on ultra.

On medium should work, if there are norms, then you can gradually raise the level of graphics.

I agree. But if the question is already point-blank because of money, then it's better to look towards AMD cards, for example, Radeon 280X. Performance for its price, which is about 14 thousand, will certainly justify itself.

serg 123 14.01.22

You can play on 550 ti, but there are drawdowns from 50 to 15-5 fps, after patches I think it will get better

C

On gtx 750 1gb you can play but in betmobile the fps sags.
