RTX on vs off (Dying Light 2: Stay Human)

According to my tests for playing on 3060/2080 level cards at 30fps (console level) there are 2 options. Either 4k dlss quality, the rest is high without rtx (in this case, the average fps will be even closer to 45), or 2k dlss quality, rtx on (here it will be 30 in open areas 40 in the house). I am attaching screenshots for comparing graphics in these two modes:

1. rtx off 4k

2. rtx on 2k

3. rtx off 4k

4. rtx on 2k

.

Which mode do you think is better?

I’ll add a couple more screenshots:
1. optimal settings with partial rtx (from digital foundry) 4k dlss on performance

2. just ultra without rtx 4k dlss on quality

I think the conclusion is obvious that rtx brings more or less beauty in the game, but it also eats decently. To play even with optimal settings from digital foundry with fps close to 60, you need a card at least 3070ti

Why do you need 2 3090?

For me, from rtx there are only drawdowns of frames, and the search for differences in the picture is fraught with a fracture of vision.

What does your video have to do with the topic? and you know what kind of advertising you tube channel gets banned!

In this game, even without rays, the graphics are really very beautiful if you play at maximum speeds

Started playing the other day. The game is a license. Video - 2070 Super. I play in 1080p.

I turned the settings to the maximum, with rays (DLSS - quality). Started playing. FPS in the region of 50-60, almost never drops below 50. Well, I think, OK, I will pass with the rays. Came to the city. FPS is still the same - 50-60. And then I go to the market and there the fps suddenly drops to 18-20. On the screen - specific brakes. It's impossible to play!
Went outside. Again 50-60. Back to the market - 18-20!

OK. I started playing more. I went to the mill, which is the top one on the map. "Alder" or whatever it is. Activated. The video began to show how people come and build a village. And in this video FPS again 18-20!. Then it got up. I went up to the merchant there, FPS was 40. I decided to go down to the garden - there the FPS dropped below 20.

I walked along the roofs towards the nearest edge of the map - fps 30. Moreover, if you look towards the border of the map - 30. If you turn around to the mill, then 50 ...

Looked around the map, tested the settings ... Compared the picture. Differences are only in the levels where there is water-reflection. Other than that, I didn't notice much of a difference. As a result, I spat, turned off RTX, turned on the vertical. And now I play with a stable 75 frames without drawdowns.

video memory is not enough. There consumption for 8 gigs climbs, where it eats 8500-9000 mb. Here are your fps drops. I have 12 GB fps on 2060, 50-60 fps everywhere with beams, 1080p, high settings, DLSS quality.

No need to call, I have 2070 super a little more fps! minimum 50, average 55-57 and maximum 70-75+ fps, also with ultra settings and maximum tracing with dlss quality! and it is more powerful than your 2060! so you will not have so many frames even for 12GB of memory at maximum speed with tracing.
And I have never had such drawdowns as Alder4000 in the same places as in the market and in the city itself! so it's not because of the video memory.
