Full game experience (Rayman Legends)
Actually the game is already out. We share our impressions. For some reason, the hero himself slows down for some reason both in full and in windowed mode, but the situation around is moving normally :(
The hardware on the laptop seems to be pulling (i5, 6GB, IntelHD 3000 and NV 620M), the new drivers installed do not help, in repack it can case Who faced?

In order for such wonderful games to continue to be released, they need to be bought.

Yes, I agree, there are so few good platformers, and Rayman somehow fills this empty gap. I remember Origins had low sales, so the developers took the risk by releasing a new part.
Passed completely. Mixed feelings.
(+)
+1 The game has become livelier and more action.
+2 Management has become easier and more convenient, a couple of movements appeared instead of unnecessary old ones (for example, a sitting kick was replaced with a straight down kick).
+3 Introduced into the game a more interactive and colorful way to select levels instead of a primitive map.
+4 The game introduced the idea of musical levels, where you need to focus on the melody and notes.
+5 In the new game, level designers moved away from clumsy levels and did not limit themselves to working out locations based on simple movements, like, running and jumping, but based the levels on more complex control techniques that require more careful control, such as jumping on opponents ( it was in the first game, but not so developed), came up with new obstacles and elements of locations in the combination of the hero's abilities - the levels became more interesting.
6 The game has metal, rock, but there is no rap and chanson - all this makes me happy!

-1 Developers made a very short game in comparison with the first part - too lazy to make more new levels, deciding to spit on half of the work done and borrow part of the first game. In short, Legends is half (exactly half!) Consisting of the previous game. And this is a real slag! I went through Origins completely and I'm completely in the bastard to replay the old levels, but I need to, because I need to score 700 babies. And with such impudence they sell the old levels in the form of "lucky tickets", like a fucking prize that I should be happy about, but in fact (considering the previously completed first part), I look at each newly available old level from the first game with gloom and doom.
This minus outweighs many of the pluses. Imagine you are playing ... Mortal Kombat 9 and in the middle of the fight you are suddenly transferred to Mortal Kombat 1 for Genesis with an old graph, a mean number of hits, and most importantly - you played it and you want to play with the new one, but you are forced to play the boring one old.
-2 Looking at the new level design and worlds, new ideas, at first I was delighted with the fresh breath of the muses of the developers, but when I saw what the unlockable characters are, I realized that their muses were bent on four heroes: Rayman, Globox, baby, Barbara. In reality, only four characters are available throughout the game, as in the first part there was only one less, and for some reason we have to try to open these four characters 10 times, gaining lumes. They differ only in color, names and, in rare cases, details of clothing or weapons (a sword or an ax, for example), they all have the same faces, the same dimensions, the animation of movements is boring! I sincerely hoped in this game to see another fairy as a playable character, whom we released in the first part and they gave us abilities, but alas, in this game they are not even mentioned. I was also hoping to play as the crazy bunnies that were the villains in the Rayman games and his fight against the mad bunnies, at least just for a change and a tribute to those games in 2007, because the bunnies were very colorful in appearance and as playable characters could be more interesting than the same Globox and its 200 clones. Yes, to play as a villain, but so what, among those 200 Raymans, we also open villains during the game and you can play for them. In short, the characters are far from a fountain. among those 200 Raymans, we also discover villains during the game and you can play for them. -3 Many consider co-op to be fashionable and cool, but I don't like this fashion and I'm not a supporter of the dependence of games on online, moreover, I can't stand playing together with someone, especially in arcades. I like games that depend solely on me and my desire - I want to play, but I don’t want to, I didn’t like that part of the levels, the so-called “testsâ€, are available only if someone on the Internet deigns to me to play. Why the hell do I need someone to play if I want to play a video game? IMHO, stupidity! Older arcades and platformers often had a two-player mode, but it wasn't that intrusive or that blackmailing and didn't require a person to be constantly connected to the internet.
What we have? Initially, with all the pluses, consider a game that has a total of 10 points. Now consider what this "cake" spoils. Half of the castrated game with the first part sewn on (-5 points as for half of the game made), restriction of access to part of the levels without online (-1 point), again the scarcity of the choice of characters (-1 point). Total: 10-5-1-1 = 3. The game is 3 out of 10. But it could have been 8. There are people who said that this is the best arcade game of 2013, but there is much better, believe me, because, apparently, they are different didn't play. Legends simply enjoys the success of Origins in terms of gameplay, and remains a failure because it is inferior.
There are toys that you play and replay several times. In my opinion, this game is worthy of being halfway through and removed, because this is its problem, IMHO, that it is essentially not completed, but simply borrowed partly from its predecessor.
It's good that I didn't pay a single penny for this game - it's not worth the money claimed, it costs only half! But I do not regret the money spent on the first part, because the first was self-sufficient and complete.
Well, in the end, this is not the last arcade of the existing ones, so I don’t particularly grieve. There were previous Rayman games, there was Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams, Castle of Illusion, Braid, Flock, Scary Girl, ARES, Blade Kitten, Sonic Generation, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 in 2 episodes, Blood of the Werewolf, Sign Mora, Motor Rock, Dead Pixels, Waves, Duck Tails Remaster - these are all new and recent, and there are many others, relatively or very old. And then there is always Nintendo, Genesis, Super Nintendo, Atari2600, Playstation, which I can also play on emulators with a gamepad, since I only have games for Genesis 15 gigs! Although, probably, schoolchildren do not understand.
Continuation of the fun-stoned platformer. With some new mechanics, a playable character for girls and a fly partner.
Again, as in the last game, problems with the controller. The same ones, in fact - even though the game sees it, it still shows the buttons from the keyboard. If fully (with achievements, etc.) came out in Steam, then such garbage, I suppose, would not exist. So I had to on the clave.
Management seems to be better, more responsive. The game itself has become easier and more comfortable, so you can also use the keyboard if you customize the buttons for yourself. Whack, for example, on the right ctrl.
The game has become much more beautiful and not so big, which is a plus. Well, if you go through the main campaign, of course. Everything is gorgeous there. Great varied levels, cool huge bosses. Only the scenes with the main villains are disappointing - they are repeated almost one to one all five times. Well, at least they're cool, that's good. Great humor, the same is better than in Origin. Great sounds and music. This is especially chic at new musical levels. In general, if we take only the company, it has become better in all respects.
Hence the main drawback - a monstrous amount of completely unnecessary crap is stuffed into the game. And a bunch of grind to open bonus levels. Some of that shit (competition) doesn't work at all now.
A great game that has been painstakingly spoiled in order to keep players as long as possible. Fortunately, not to the detriment of the main campaign.
