RTX 3070 Graphics Settings: +100 FPS (Dying Light 2: Stay Human)
Optimal graphics settings for RTX 3070 without retracing:Resolution: 2880x1620

Ray Traced Flashlight: Off
Fog Quality: Low
I didn’t buy it to put anything on low settings. I do not agree with this approach. 60 fps (monitor mode ceiling) without rays on ultras I like better.
Tdante
Set the same settings as mine, if the computer has a normal card and you get 100 or more fps on ultras.

IMHO, in this game the fog is on a low masthead. The picture does not change, but the FPS adds decently. You probably don't even have to enable DLSs.
Well, grainy taste, my eyes are leaking from it.
Loken
And I tried with fog and I got only 4 fps. You may need to experiment with this setting somewhere else....
GERA1987
Yes.
1080p, dlss/fsr off, grainy off, remote blur on, fog low. The rest is like in the video.
With fsr-quality, the difference is also big. 110 and 150 respectively.
ps I do not have 3070, but only 6600xt, the config is in the profile. Just about the fog decided to speak.
depending on what 3070! for the strix, you can overclock by 20% and set everything to high, except for the fucking blur, and there will be a stable fps of 75 frames for monics 75 hertz!
2070 super:
2880x1620 (DLDSR). Monique 1080p. DLSS - balance
Everything at maximum without RT, except fog (low)
80 outdoors, 100+ indoors
I'm very pleased with the picture.
Tdante
With RT it seemed too dark, plus a load without impressive quality. Reflections affect FPS, but you won't see them anywhere. Fog also squanders FPS, these two resource-intensive settings do not add quality in order to sacrifice performance so much. Not for persuasion, I share my settings for a 144 monitor. Anti-Aliasing, Blurring, and Particle on Low I didn't notice any difference at that resolution.
Tdante
The game also looks good at low settings at high resolution, except that the picture will be pale
sarge275
Without RT, did you try it in 1080p with the maximum? One porridge. Starting from 1440p everything is already clearer.
qapshp
Yes. Porridge in 1080p is due to poor anti-aliasing. There is now a popular soap TAATXAA. With DLSS, the situation is the same in FullHD, as the render resolution is lowered. So on a 1080p monitor, the situation is drastically changed only by rendering up through DSR DLDSR.

In this game, only the quality of the fog and reflections affect the FPS, the rest do not affect it at all! I realized this when I tested it on the second computer, with a gtx 970 on board, so I set everything to ultra except for these two parameters, and it all went wrong!
