DX12 vs DX11 vs Vulkan

I was a little surprised that the game supports 3 versions of the API. I would like to read opinions on game performance on different APIs in this thread.

Most likely DX11 will be used by most of the less load on Pack :) Vulkan and DX12 are probably less optimized and are not captured by overlays)

Dx11 has been outdated for a very long time. Among the games that are not captured by overlays, this is ..... uh uh ..... Good question) I don’t remember such at all. Now just optimization is better on 12dx and Vulcan in most new games than on old 9-10-11dx.

Directx 9 and 10 are understandably outdated, but Directx 11 is not yet, despite the fact that right now at least they started to shove a piece of shit into games about Directx 12, but for some reason all the developers put a bolt on the Vulkan api which is many times better than Directx 12.

Vulkan lathers grafonium for me. The best option that I have been using for many years is Directx12+DLSS+2880x1620+Nvidia Sharpening+Reshade+everything is on ultra and the picture is valid and the fps is high.

what? theoretically, ray tracing of the type dxr dx12 ultimat is possible on the volcano, but I have not yet implemented it and it is not clear whether it works faster or better and most likely not.

I checked it on my gtx 1060 6 gb (ultra settings) and shorter like this: dx11 - 51-33 fps dx12- 30-10 FPS. Volcano: 45-26 fps with friezes.

The current at 11 goes smoothly, 12 starts to lag and terribly loads the processor, I'll check the volcano

What kind of processor do you have? that it loads it so much, because I also play on dx12 with ultra settings and enabled tracing, also on ultra, and the processor is not loaded at all, but works at 20-30% maximum and mostly at 15-20%! not like in marvels spidermen, which with similar settings loads the percentage by 80+-%.

the game works the same on all APIs, only with dx11 there are a few stutters, volcano and dx12 work without differences

I have some kind of crap, the game works stably only in dx 12. When you start in vulkan friezes and windowed mode that does not want to change to full screen. in dx 11 it is generally strange that the processor is 100% loaded. i5 10500/gtx 1650s

Tracing also affects CPU usage! but that's not the point, I just asked what kind of percentage does he have? which loads heavily if the game consumes very little CPU resources.

i5 9300h gtx 1050ti 16gb on dx12 smooth frame, GPU load 84-100%, on the volcano - GPU load drops are terrible 22-56% sometimes 95%, the frame is torn, on dx11 - 65-95% on average with stutters. The game is on m2.

On dx 11 the game looks very clear, on dx 12 and Vulkan the soap is soapy, but on dx 11 there are some terrible friezes, as if something is constantly loading.
Also a glitch or a bug, but when you turn on double buffering, then the game starts with fps, it jumps from 60 to 25 depending on the place, but when you turn on triple buffering, everything becomes in order and produces a stable 60 frames, the settings are medium high.
In general, who suddenly has a problem with the fact that the game is running at 30 fps, try switching Vsync.
