temperature Aorus rx 580 8gb
The other day I took aorus rx 580 8gb. I have been using it for 2 weeks, it heats up, under load (fu mark) up to 75 degrees, in rdr2 it sometimes rises to 75, but usually lowers it to 70-72, while the fans work at 80-85 percent (2300-2500 on average rpm). Is this the norm? There are two valves in the case from the front to the intake, one behind and from the top to the exhaust. Of course, after mining, I took the card for a penny, but everything passes the tests normally, the performance is also normalDenis Kyokushin wrote:

Again? You have already killed 10 of your mowers on gaskets and pasta) Is there any sense at least?

And what thermal paste? Thermopaste AeroCool Baraf-S 5.15 W / mK will be rather weak, as I understand it. I
recommend Zalman ZM-STC9, not advertising, this is what I used myself on the percent and on my card, but it is very hot. The paste does its job well and has been alive for almost half a year, arctic mx-4 on the processor in a month. already dried up

Thousand 8 for 2 years.
I hope you see the point:

lol. I have never changed thermal paste on video cards with rare exceptions. and the only case of the code I needed to change it when it dried up on the amd fx processor and the CPU began to reboot in games. perhaps a candidate for replacing thermal paste 285 zhth but I have not played games on it yet.
maybe of course I was lucky in vidyuhi but before there were jokes about reinstalling Windows every few months, they say it starts to lag.

Well, there are 10s, check the card with a furmark, it heats up more abruptly than any game and it takes at least half an hour to warm it up. But still, somehow 70s with valves at full is a bit too much. I had a 1080ti version of the gaming OS from the giga, well, 63s the ceiling with the valves is somewhere around 80%, so this is a chip that is more complicated, larger and ate 270 watts on average during overclocking, and you have about 185 watts tdp. In general, display information through xv info how many watts the card consumes, you need to install the hw info prog, and in msi ab in the "monitoring" tab select active charts and check the xv info checkbox there and click configure, then select the necessary data. It is very important to understand at what consumption such a temperature, but IMHO it is still a bit high.

well, no matter how you play, or completely dull junk, these cards did not have hardware support for dx11

The Witcher 3 will warm up in 4 minutes, as it should. You just need to select the daytime in the game.

Actually, it is displayed from below GPU Core Power up to 145W. AMD has two indicators, there is also GPU Chip Power.

STC9 9.1W/mK, TF7 12.8W/mK

if 145 watts, then it doesn’t warm up, 145 if without a downvolt, then it’s strange. Run the furmark, it will be stronger, the card should have 185 watts in stock at full load. At 145 watts, even 70s should not be if the valves are 100% almost oily. And when you removed the radiator, did you check the operation of the heat pipes?

I have 145W in my BIOS:

The author can also look for his own:

Aorus also has 145W
I never understood people who play furmark, perverts. The only time I used a combustor was when I took a boo card to test the card.
The Botponevole
Card must be stress tested at least once every two months. That's why people use occt, furmark, some 3d mark stress tests and similar programs to thoroughly warm up and check for stability.

Then if everything is fine with the radiator and the gaskets are chosen normally, then the quality of the CO is just one-night, so that at 145 watts such temperatures would be with the valves to their fullest.

The cooling is still calla, like a foil. If we take the cooling of the same 570GTX from Palit, then the Gigi RX588 cooling was not even next to it. It was this that surprised me when I opened it for the first time The manufacturers found a way to save on cooling, as well on temperature sensors. If it doesn’t rise above 75 ° in summer, then it’s normal
. I had a real problem with the kremlin, I turned 4 washers into a wrinkle when pressing the radiator to the board. I didn’t notice it right away, only after some time. from 7950, and everything worked as it should, the pressure became good. It only remained to replace the thermal interface, which made it possible to bring down 9 °
And also about the noise: my PC does not howl like yours, despite the 100% speed of the card valves. I think you will have 80 decibels. In the Moscow metro 81 dB

Just more dangerous when 50 then 65 and back 50 than 75-77! and the fact that from idle 35 degrees it heats up in games to 70+ is not critical, because the chip warmed up to a certain temperature gradually, and keeps at this level while you play, and of course when you exit, the temperature will drop again to 35! if, of course, you enter and exit the game every 5 minutes, then these drops will affect, but if you log in for an hour or more, then there will be nothing to worry about.

It's hot that I can still play the RX588 to this day. It's mad that I can save on hardware by playing old games that I have a wagon and cart. I played the first Witcher yesterday, Raven Armor nadybal, killed Kashchei and Yaved
And I play on my computer on emulators in sega and dandy :) Characteristics of iron in the profile.
Kartonkratos I agree
about cooling and temperature difference, but the colder the card, the smaller this difference, if we compare my three cards 770 2GB, 970 4GB, 1060 6GB, in toys they show plus or minus the same result, only in the metro 770 looks frank weak, but in hot weather, the difference is noticeable 72.65, and 60 degrees at 100% load, at rest everything is about 25-27 degrees.
